<div>Physical Therapy Assistant 
ACSA is hiring for a Physical Therapist Assistant position. ACSA is a medical and non-medical Home Health Care Agency. We provide professional medical services in the home of our patients. ACSA medical team is supportive, compassionate, and attentive. Our patients receive skilled medical care as needed on a weekly basis according to frequency and discipline. 
Physical Therapy Assistant Job Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>
Promote and maintain physical health by providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist</li>
<li>Contributes to a physical therapist&rsquo;s effectiveness by identifying patient care needs</li>
<li>Collaborates with ACSA medical team to develop and administer treatment plans for patients 
</li>
<li>Documents patient care services using Axxess software</li>
<li>Performs therapeutic procedures by using manual exercises</li>
<li>Helps patients in using supportive devices to gain maximum independence 
</li>
<li>Follows Agency policies and procedures 
</li>
<li>Updates job knowledge by participating in company educational assignments</li>
<li>Participates in company meetings for comprehensive care</li>
<li>Makes recommendations for optimal patient care</li></ul> 


Work Environment: 
<ul>
<li>
PTAs will visit patients in their home to provide services</li>
<li>Bending, stooping, climbing stairs as needed</li>
<li>Assisting patients with ambulation and mobility as needed</li>
<li>Driving to patients home for scheduled visits</li>
<li>Complete documentation for all assigned visits</li>
<li>PTAs have the flexibility to create their own schedule</li></ul> 


Physical Therapy Assistant Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>
Physiological knowledge and education</li>
<li>Health promotion and maintenance</li>
<li>Create a safe, effective environment within the patient's home 
</li>
<li>Organization skills 
</li>
<li>Physical therapy administration</li>
<li>Documentation skills</li>
<li>Listening and verbal communication</li></ul> 


Education and Requirements: 
<ul>
<li>
Associate degree for physical therapy assistant</li>
<li>PTA license or certification</li>
<li>Knowledge of Home Health Care environment</li>
<li>Must have an active drivers license</li>
<li>Must have a reliable vehicle</li></ul> 


Please note that this is a 100% per diem position. Entry-level experience welcomed.</div>
