This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity and grow your career in the beauty industry.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and artistry.</li><li>Apply knowledge of color theory to recommend and create custom nail designs that suit each client&rsquo;s preferences.</li><li>Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and adhering to health regulations to ensure client safety.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by listening carefully to client needs, offering professional advice, and creating a relaxing experience.</li><li>Upsell additional services such as body waxing, eyelash extensions, or esthetic laser treatments to enhance client satisfaction and revenue.</li><li>Keep detailed records of services provided and client preferences for future appointments.</li><li>Stay updated on the latest nail trends, techniques, and products through ongoing education and industry research.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong knowledge of nail care techniques, including cuticle care, shaping, polishing, and nail enhancements.</li><li>Deep understanding of color theory to assist clients in choosing complementary shades and designs.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and understand their beauty goals.</li><li>Proficiency in sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff.</li><li>Experience with hair extensions, hair styling, hair threading, body waxing, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments is a plus.</li><li>Ability to perform retail sales effectively by upselling products such as nail polishes or skincare items using retail math skills.</li><li>Knowledge of retail sales strategies combined with strong interpersonal skills to promote services confidently.
