Job Summary

This position will collaborate with team members to design residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Technical tasks include but not limited to conceptual site layout, utility design; roadway design; site grading design; storm drain design; storm water management design; water and sanitary sewer main design; soil erosion and sedimentation control design; floodplain studies; permitting and entitlement support; and construction support (2026 start).

Accountability and Duties
<ul><li>Designs site plans utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.
</li><li>Prepares conceptual grading analyses and site layout.</li>
<li>Prepares and computes, but not limited to due diligence/site analysis reports, engineer opinion of probable costs, utility computations, detention/retention computations, storm water reports, earthwork analysis.</li>
<li>Assists in production of final construction drawings.
</li><li>Prepares permit applications for applicable municipal agencies.
</li><li>Assists project managers as requested.
</li><li>Assists with client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects.
</li><li>Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
</li><li>Attends client and public meetings- days or evenings.</li>
<li>Participates in business development efforts as requested.

Minimum Qualifications
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university. 0-2 years related experience.</li>

Atwell is seeking a Senior Proposal Marketing Associate to support our Power &amp; Energy practice, including electric utility, transmission, substation, generation, and renewable energy markets.

In this role, you will lead proposal strategy and execution for high-priority, complex pursuits and serve as a strategic partner to business line leadership. This position is well suited for a senior AEC marketing professional who understands utility-scale infrastructure markets and is comfortable owning capture strategy from early positioning through final delivery.

You will work directly with Power &amp; Energy directors, project managers, and business development leaders to position Atwell competitively within traditional electric utility and renewable energy sectors.
<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Key Responsibilities</h2>
<ul><li>Lead end-to-end development of strategic proposals, SOQs, and presentations for Power &amp; Energy pursuits</li>
<li>Drive capture planning efforts for complex pursuits, including competitive analysis, positioning, win themes, and value propositions</li>
<li>Facilitate go/no-go discussions, pursuit strategy meetings, kick-offs, and executive-level proposal reviews</li>
<li>Partner with Power &amp; Energy leadership to align proposals with annual growth strategies and target markets</li>
<li>Advise BD and operations leaders on messaging specific to electric utilities, transmission operators, renewable developers, and energy clients</li>
<li>Develop and refine technical proposal narratives related to transmission, substations, generation, T&amp;D programs, and renewable energy projects</li>
<li>Ensure brand consistency, compliance, and quality across all client-facing materials</li>
<li>Mentor and guide Proposal Marketing Associates, elevating proposal standards and best practices</li>
<li>Oversee and maintain Power &amp; Energy-specific content libraries, resumes, and project data</li>
<li>Support interview preparation and presentation strategy for shortlisted pursuits</li>
<li>Monitor utility and renewable energy market trends to inform pursuit positioning</li>
<li>Contribute to sector-specific conferences, sponsorships, award submissions, and marketing initiatives</li>
</ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">Qualifications</h2>
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, Business, or related field</li>
<li>10+ years of AEC marketing experience with significant focus in Power &amp; Energy, utilities, transmission, or renewable energy</li>
<li>Proven experience leading complex SOQs, RFQs, and RFP responses for electric utility or energy infrastructure clients</li>
<li>Experience supporting pursuits ranging from mid-sized contracts to large, multi-million-dollar programs</li>
<li>Strong understanding of capture strategy, competitive positioning, and client relationship development</li>
<li>Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign required; Illustrator and Photoshop preferred)</li>
<li>Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)</li>
<li>Excellent writing, editing, and strategic storytelling skills</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple concurrent high-level pursuits with autonomy</li>
<li>Experience partnering directly with senior leadership and business line directors</li>

Atwell is seeking a Corporate Brand Designer to support brand execution across our growing portfolio of engineering, consulting, and infrastructure-focused services. This role is ideal for a designer with experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry who understands how to translate complex technical content into clear, compelling visual communications.

In this role, you will partner closely with proposal, marketing, and leadership teams to elevate how we present our work&mdash;supporting pursuits, strengthening brand consistency, and enhancing how we communicate across all touchpoints. You'll play a key role in shaping materials that directly impact business development and client engagement.

This is a remote position supporting teams across the U.S.

Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Design and produce high-quality branded materials supporting proposals, SOQs, and client pursuits within the AEC space</li>
<li>Translate technical content (engineering, land, infrastructure, energy projects) into clear, visually compelling layouts and graphics</li>
<li>Create proposal templates, infographics, maps, and presentation materials that enhance readability and win themes</li>
<li>Support business development efforts through polished, deadline-driven design execution for active pursuits</li>
<li>Execute creative assets for internal and external communications, including presentations, digital campaigns, and marketing collateral</li>
<li>Ensure consistent application of Atwell's brand standards across all deliverables and business lines</li>
<li>Maintain and evolve brand templates, particularly those used for proposals and technical documentation</li>

Qualifications
