<li>Fulfill online orders promptly and accurately for in-store and curbside pickup.</li>
<li>Develop expertise in assigned departments and related categories to assist customers with specific projects.</li>
<li>Perform hands-on services, including filling propane, key cutting, glass cutting, screen repair, and cutting chain, wire, and rope.</li>
<li>Operate forklifts and powered material handling equipment safely for stocking and inventory movement.</li>
<li>Address technical and product-related inquiries, escalating complex questions as needed.</li>
<li>Assemble products for in-store displays and customer orders.</li>
<li>Complete required safety training and certifications, including forklift operation.</li>
<li>Report hazards or unsafe conditions immediately to the Leader on Duty.</li>
<li>Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and Aubuchon’s Core Values.</li>
</ul>
Work Experience
 <ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred.</li>
<li>Prior retail or hardware experience is highly desirable.</li>
<li>Must be at least 18 years old.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first approach.</li>
<li>Organizational and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Basic math skills for transactions, inventory management, and project estimates.</li>
<li>Ability to operate tools and machinery, including key-cutting machines, material-handling equipment, and forklifts.</li>
<li>Willingness to complete forklift and propane certification within 90 days of hire.</li>
<li>Positive, professional, and approachable demeanor.</li>
<li>Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to business needs.</li>
<li>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.; frequent lifting/carrying of up to 25 lbs.</li>
<li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, push, and reach throughout shifts.</li>
<li>Must be comfortable working in an animal-friendly environment (accommodations available upon request).</li>

Join our Travel Store Conversion team, where you’ll evaluate, prepare, and maintain job sites, take on repairs, renovations, and carpentry projects like building store fixtures and displays, and support other trades along the way.
 
Travel and overnight stays required, working on-site during the day.
 
What You’ll Do

<li>Build and renovate store interiors: light framing, flooring, painting, basic drywall, and finish work</li>
<li>Install retail fixtures and structures (gondolas, walls, cash wraps, door frames, greenhouses)</li>
<li>Assist with demolition, clean-outs, and site preparation</li>
<li>Operate equipment (forklift training provided) and follow OSHA standards</li>
<li>Work closely with merchandising and vendor teams to execute and support conversion plans</li>
<li>Travel to stores across our region (overnights required; up to 3–4 nights/week)</li>
</ul>
Work ExperienceWhat We’re Looking For
 
<ul>
<li>Hands-on experience in construction, carpentry, or a related trade is a plus—but we’re open to motivated candidates eager to learn.</li>
<li>Comfort with frequent travel (75–100%), including overnight stays of up to four nights per week</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license, clean motor vehicle record, and minimum age of 21.</li>
<li>Ability to meet safety and compliance requirements, including pre-employment drug screening and obtaining a DOT medical card (CDL-related).</li>
<li>Physical capability to lift up to 80 lbs, work on your feet for extended periods (8+ hours), and safely use standard hand and power tools.</li>
<li>Strong work ethic and mindset—you take initiative, solve problems in real time, and work well as part of a team.</li>
