We are looking for aCashier to join our team! As a key part of the store, you will ensure a seamless checkout experience by accurately processing transactions, assisting customers, and maintaining an organized front-of-store area.

<li>Provide world-class customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.</li>
<li>Greet customers warmly as they enter and invite them back as they leave.</li>
<li>Accurately process sales and returns using the POS system.</li>
<li>Use Theatro communication technology to stay connected with the team.</li>
<li>Promote the loyalty program, in-store events, and monthly promotions.</li>
<li>Encourage customers to leave feedback through Google reviews or other platforms.</li>
<li>Maintain and organize shelves, ensuring products are stocked and labeled.</li>
<li>Monitor inventory levels in the front-of-store area and communicate restocking needs.</li>
<li>Respond to customer inquiries in person, over the phone, and via online orders.</li>
<li>Fulfill online and curbside pickup orders accurately and promptly.</li>
<li>Escalate customer concerns to management as needed.</li>
<li>Keep the cashier station, floors, and product displays clean and organized.</li>
<li>Assist customers by directing them to appropriate departments or team members.</li>
<li>Assemble products for in-store displays and customer orders.</li>
<li>Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and Aubuchon’s Core Values.</li>
</ul>
Work Experience
 <ul>
<li>High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.</li>
<li>Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.</li>
<li>Weekend availability preferred.</li>
<li>Positive and professional attitude.</li>
<li>Strong customer service and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Ability to apply basic math concepts.</li>
<li>Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.</li>
<li>Ability to bend, climb, twist, and move merchandise as needed.</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Ability to process transactions efficiently using the register system.</li>
<li>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.; frequent lifting/carrying of up to 25 lbs.</li>
<li>Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout shifts.</li>
<li>Must be able to work in an animal-friendly environment (accommodations available upon request).</li>

Join our Travel Store Conversion team, where you’ll evaluate, prepare, and maintain job sites, take on repairs, renovations, and carpentry projects like building store fixtures and displays, and support other trades along the way.
 
Travel and overnight stays required, working on-site during the day.
 
What You’ll Do
 
<ul>
<li>Build and renovate store interiors: light framing, flooring, painting, basic drywall, and finish work</li>
<li>Install retail fixtures and structures (gondolas, walls, cash wraps, door frames, greenhouses)</li>
<li>Assist with demolition, clean-outs, and site preparation</li>
<li>Operate equipment (forklift training provided) and follow OSHA standards</li>
<li>Work closely with merchandising and vendor teams to execute and support conversion plans</li>
<li>Travel to stores across our region (overnights required; up to 3–4 nights/week)</li>
</ul>
Work ExperienceWhat We’re Looking For
 
<ul>
<li>Hands-on experience in construction, carpentry, or a related trade is a plus—but we’re open to motivated candidates eager to learn.</li>
<li>Comfort with frequent travel (75–100%), including overnight stays of up to four nights per week</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license, clean motor vehicle record, and minimum age of 21.</li>
<li>Ability to meet safety and compliance requirements, including pre-employment drug screening and obtaining a DOT medical card (CDL-related).</li>
<li>Physical capability to lift up to 80 lbs, work on your feet for extended periods (8+ hours), and safely use standard hand and power tools.</li>
<li>Strong work ethic and mindset—you take initiative, solve problems in real time, and work well as part of a team.</li>
