Overview:</b></div><p>
Austin&rsquo;s Mix 94.7 (KAMX-FM) is looking for the next great talent to join Booker and Alex, the morning show named <i>&ldquo;Best Radio Personality in Austin&rdquo;</i> &mdash; seven times!</p><p>
We&rsquo;re searching for someone who&rsquo;s smart, curious, funny, fearless, and authentic &mdash; someone who connects with listeners naturally both on-air and online.</p>
Responsibilities:
<div><b>
What You'll Do:</b></div><ul><li>
Create original content and performing live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative.</li><li>
Participate and create original content for all social media platforms; managing online personality presence</li><li>
Protect the station&rsquo;s FCC license</li><li>
Monitor the music and commercial logs for the airshift</li><li>
Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly</li><li>
Operate the control board and perform production work</li><li>
Make personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts</li><li>
Other duties as required by management</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<p><b>
Required:</b></p><ul><li>
Strong conversationalist and storyteller</li><li>
Listens as well as they talk</li><li>
Comes to work prepared, organized, and full of ideas</li><li>
Shares their life in relatable, entertaining ways</li><li>
Has excellent social media instincts and can create content that connects</li><li>
Has creative writing and video production skills (big plus!)<br>

We&rsquo;re looking for a team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, competitive environment and is driven to make great radio and digital content every day.<br>

A valid driver&rsquo;s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant&rsquo;s own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
Preferred:</b></p><ul><li>
Previous on-air experience is not required &mdash; but a passion for pop culture, entertainment, and building audience connection absolutely is.</li></ul>
