You Are: AVI is seeking an experienced residential AV/ technology system designer that has specialized in luxury residential for many years. You are good with people and feel comfortable collaborating with a sales team along with direct client interaction. You love technology and are passionate about the creation of systems that enhance the lives of clients and enjoy working with a team to deliver on that goal.You Have: Experience with Design/Layout/Drafting and proposal creation or residential technology systems using tools such as Portal, DTools/Visio, CAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and deep knowledge of Control Systems (Crestron, C4 &amp; Savant), Lighting/Shading systems (Lutron), and Networks. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ.Your Location:<ul><li>In-Person</li><li>7540 W Northwind St Suite 100 Wichita, KS 67205</li></ul>Your Schedule:<ul><li>Full Time (40hrs/Wk)</li><li>Mon-Fri from 8:00am to 5:00pm</li></ul>Your Manager:<ul><li>Eric Peters, Owner</li></ul>Your Contribution to AVI:<ul><li>Creation of design and engineering documentation for low-voltage system implementation in high end residences</li><li>Produce a bill of materials (BOM) for proposals (DTools Cloud)</li><li>Understand design software (Bluebeam, DTools/Visio at minimum, ideally CAD and or Revit)</li><li>Deep understanding of signal flow, networks, lighting/shading systems, and control systems</li><li>Understand the built environment and phases of construction projects</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>+3yrs of Experience with Residential AV &amp; Low-Voltage systems design and creation of documentation</li><li>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.</li></ul>AVI&rsquo;s Contribution to You:<ul><li>$31/hr to $41/hr ($65k to $85k/yr) &ndash; Yup!</li><li>Real Healthcare (Medical/Dental) - 100% for the employee!</li><li>Simple IRA w/ 3% Match &ndash; You Bet!</li><li>PTO = 5 Days after 1yr, 10 Days after 5yrs</li><li>Sick Days = 5 Days/yr</li><li>Paid Holidays = 7 Days/yr &ndash; Of Course!</li><li>Employee Discount</li><li>Company Cell Phone</li></ul>About Audio Video Innovations:Our team of dedicated smart home technology professionals is committed to providing the best and most reliable solutions for your home or business.
