 Overview:
 
 The Audiology Clinic Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact and administrative anchor for our clinic. This role is responsible for ensuring a seamless patient experience&mdash;from initial scheduling to final billing&mdash;while managing the complex financial and insurance workflows associated with audiological care, medical procedures, and hearing device technology.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Scheduling client appointments and maintaining clinic calendar
 </li>
 <li>
 Registering new patients and updating client information, including intake forms and insurance details
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintaining billing and reports via an electronic medical record system
 </li>
 <li>
 Preparing and sending bills and invoices to patients for medical procedures and equipment and communicating with clients by phone, email, or written communication
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinating payment and insurance claims
 </li>
 <li>
 Calculating payments for services like procedures, tests, and devices
 </li>
 <li>
 Assisting with validation and enrollment in insurance reimbursement
 </li>
 <li>
 Making payments and monitoring accounts with equipment vendors
 </li>
 <li>
 Assisting audiologist with establishing price lists for services and preparing billing documents for clients
 
 
 
 </li>

 Requirements
 
 
 
 
 Required Skills &amp; Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor Degree required, Degree in health-care related field preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Exceptional ability to prioritize tasks and manage scheduling complexities to maintain optimal clinic flow and minimize patient wait times
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to execute diverse administrative tasks and ensure the integrity and organization of all clinic documentation and files
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of people including clients, families, colleagues, and students
 </li>
 <li>

 Physical Requirements:

Also required is the ability to listen, hear, speak, read, climb stairs, bend, stoop, and stand for intermittently long periods of time. Must be able to use a computer to accomplish a variety of job tasks.

 This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

 Pay and Benefits:
 
 The budgeted compensation for this position is $15.45 - $16.00/hour based upon education, experience, skills, and abilities.
 
 
 
 Hours:
 
 This role averages 16 hours per week typically spread across 3 days per week. Candidate will have flexibility to work with their manager to set a consistent schedule to accommodate both organizational needs and the selected candidate's availability. Office hours are M - F, 8am - 4:30pm.
