Job Description 
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Project Management<ul><li>Drive component introduction within the customer and development projects</li><li>Perform Risk Analysis &amp; create risk mitigation plan along with Supplier, SQM P and project team.</li><li>Drive the risk mitigation plan over the PLC and initiate corrective actions (e.g. escalation) if the risk mitigation plan is not on track.</li></ul> 
Supplier Selection<ul><li>Identify missing or not up-to-date audits / GQA and request (re-)audit/completion if required from responsible SQM</li><li>Track and plan execution of SCR</li><li>Ensure in-time sourcing of feasible suppliers with decisions signed according signature rules</li></ul> 
Component Introduction<ul><li>Plan, initiate and control failure prevention orientated, advanced quality management measures in the design/development phase for supplied parts</li><li>Plan, initiate, implement and control the appropriate supplier quality assurance measures along the complete process chain in the make/market phase for all supplied goods and services</li><li>Implement and control of quality improvement and development programs of suppliers</li><li>Prepare and execute visits and management meetings with suppliers</li><li>Troubleshooting for supplier problems and support Supplier Quality Management (SQM) Plants for escalation</li><li>Ensure in-time releases of new components</li></ul> 
Performance &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Regular update of APQP Status via SupplyOn.</li><li>To feedback continuously APQP / PPAP status from SQM towards project team / engineering / SQM P</li><li>To feedback APQP / PPAP status from SQM towards customer on demand</li></ul> 
Lessons Learned<ul><li>Promote Lessons Learned within BA and SQM (related to component introduction, component specification, supplier selection, technology experience, new business models ...)</li></ul> 
Escalation Management<ul><li>Support Escalation management regarding SQM topics for cross-product family / customer cases</li></ul> 
Qualifications 
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE<ul><li>
Bachelor Degree in Engineering</li><li>
Minimum 2 years of work experience in quality or research &amp; development function and/or in project management.</li><li>
Comprehensive knowledge in semiconductor, advanced technology, mechanical or manufacturing</li><li>
Good experience in quality systems, process audits and parts qualification</li><li>
Understanding of automotive practices such as APQP, PPAP, VDA6.3 or IATF16949</li><li>
Able to lead/facilitate process improvements and supplier development</li><li>
Good interpersonal and communication skills (e.g.-Business English, Presentations) to interact with external and internal stakeholders</li><li>
Able to work independently and travel frequently (e.g.- SE-Asia, China, Japan, Mexico &amp; Europe) approx. 30%</li><li>
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job posting.</li><li>

Job Description 
<ul><li>
Control target achievements for local Advanced Purchasing and support the team with problem-solving and escalations</li><li>
Drive and support the product development phase, including supplier involvement, APQP/PPAP status monitoring, and material needs assessment</li><li>
Lead the sourcing process for supplier selection, including request for quotation and adherence to supplier and material strategies</li><li>
Develop BA material strategy and lead localisation initiatives</li><li>
Translate product/technology roadmap into component/technology roadmap and conduct strategy reviews</li><li>
Drive Cost Reduction Programs (CRP) for BA's products after SOP, including re-design to cost initiatives</li><li>
Manage commercial responsibility for material costs, including BOM calculation and control during acquisition phase</li><li>
Develop cost-efficient design concepts with R&amp;D to enable customer award and meet BOM cost before SOP</li><li>
Initiate and support redesign-to-cost (ReDTC) or cost reduction programs for BA products after SOP</li><li>
Evaluate cost optimisation ideas with Engineering and track implementation of material-related ReDTC measures</li></ul> 

Qualifications 
Engineering Graduate - Electronics / Mechanical with 10~15 yrs. Experience with Good Negotiation ,Communication &amp; Computer skills preferred from Automotive back ground.
