Austin Machine is a well-established aerospace job shop conveniently located in the O'Fallon area right off of Highway 70. Austin Machine provides a clean and climate controlled environment for its employees and is looking to add a CNC Mill Programmer and solidworks designer to our team. Bonus if you are also able to estimate machine times for quoting!Requirements:<ul><li>Must have previous experience in a machine shop</li><li>We primarily run HAAS, DMG, and SNK machines.</li><li>Generate CNC programs for Machining Centers in MasterCam and design fixtures in SolidWorks. Vericut experience a plus.</li><li>Build 3D models</li><li>Create drawings from 3D models</li><li>Troubleshoot programming problems on shop floor.</li><li>Investigate and implement improvements in programming techniques.</li><li>Must be able to read and interpret engineered drawings and work instruction.</li><li>Must have your own tools.</li><li>Must be able to pass a drug test</li></ul>Employment Type: Full-TimeHours: 40+hrs/weekShifts: Day shiftBenefits:<ul><li>All full time employees are eligible for health, dental, life and vision insurance.</li><li>Paid vacation, and paid holidays.</li><li>401K retirement plan is a 3% safe harbor plan - no matching, everyone gets 3% with additional profit sharing possible each year.</li><li>All full time employees are eligible for insurance after 60 days of hire.</li></ul>About Austin Machine:Austin Machine is an aerospace machine shop that builds machined parts for military aircraft with our main customer being The Boeing Company.
