Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our compassionate team. This position will be instrumental in delivering comprehensive respiratory care to our residents, including arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis, heated high-flow therapy, tracheostomy procedures, invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation management, and ventilator weaning.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Conduct arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and interpret results accurately.</li><li>Administer heated high-flow therapy and oversee tracheostomy procedures, including removal and insertion.</li><li>Monitor and optimize settings for both invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation systems.</li><li>Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, including ventilator weaning protocols.</li><li>Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding respiratory care techniques and equipment usage.</li><li>Maintain detailed patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.</li><li>Valid Ohio licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.</li><li>Current BLS and ACLS certifications; NRP certification preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.</li></ul>
- Experience in ventilator management and weaning protocols highly desirable.- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. 
<ul><li>Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>
