Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Vacuum Truck Driver and take on an exciting role that combines skilled driving with essential waste management and industrial service operations. In this energetic position, you will operate specialized vacuum trucks to transport, unload, and manage liquid and solid waste materials efficiently and safely. Your expertise will ensure smooth route driving, adherence to safety protocols, and exceptional service delivery across various job sites. This role offers a chance to be part of a dedicated team committed to environmental responsibility and operational excellence.Responsibilities<ul><li>Safely operate vacuum trucks equipped with tanks, pumps, and hoses to load and unload waste materials in compliance with all safety regulations.</li><li>Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking manual transmission systems, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized equipment.</li><li>Drive commercial vehicles across designated routes, ensuring timely delivery and pickup while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.</li><li>Load and unload using appropriate equipment ensuring proper handling of materials.</li><li>Manage route driving efficiently by planning optimal paths to meet schedule demands while adhering to traffic laws and safety guidelines.</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site personnel, and clients.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance needs, and service logs for compliance purposes.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Valid commercial driver&rsquo;s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.</li><li>Proven truck driving experience in roles such as delivery driver or industrial service technician.</li><li>Familiarity with operating specialized equipment including tanker trucks, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or tractor-trailers.</li><li>Knowledge of route driving best practices along with the ability to navigate efficiently across various terrains.</li><li>Strong understanding of safety protocols related to hazardous materials handling and waste management regulations.</li><li>Physical capability to perform routine vehicle inspections and handle equipment operation tasks.
