The Dispatcher will schedule technician appointments at customer sites and facilitates communication between technicians, customers, and the company as well as assist in fleet and safety management.
 
Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Maintain the service technician schedules and dispatch technicians as service calls are completed.</li>
<li>Schedule technician’s return trips with customers to complete jobs after arrival of parts.</li>
<li>Maintain on call schedule for service technician and after-hours service procedures.</li>
<li>Enter service calls, schedule calls, and generates call debriefing with technicians daily.</li>
<li>Maintain customer database, ensuring complete, accurate, and updated entry of information.</li>
<li>Respond to customer inquiries regarding company schedule, requested lead times, equipment services, invoicing, and general inquiries.</li>
<li>Respond to service technician requests both by radio and phone.</li>
<li>Follow up and schedule preventative maintenance service appointments.</li>
<li>Review completes service work orders for accuracy.</li>
<li>Prepares invoices and timecards for processing.</li>
<li>Coordinates fleet preventative maintenance appointments and maintains organized records for all fleet working directly with the Operations Manager.</li>
<li>Assists safety manager with maintaining all safety documents and training rosters.</li>
<li>Participate in all company sponsored training classes.</li>
<li>Effectively manage conflict resolution with clients through clear communication, addressing all concerns, questions, or problems expediently.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>HS diploma or GED</li>
<li>Excellent communication and listening skills</li>
<li>Following all safety policies and procedures</li>
<li>Maintaining a courteous demeanor with all customers and associates</li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements: 
<ul>
<li>Work is performed in an office environment</li>
<li>Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects</li>
<li>May be required to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time</li>
<li>Involves extended periods of looking at a computer monitor</li>
<li>Must be able to see, hear, talk, and type</li>

Lawn Squad is hiring Lawn Care Technicians to help give our customers a great customer experience and a beautiful lawn. You will perform various types of lawn applications including fertilization, weed control, pest and aerations to ensure our customers lawn looks beautiful. Our ideal candidate is someone who is committed to interacting with our customers to understand their wants and needs for their lawn and actively suggest services to help achieve those desires. The ideal candidate should be willing to understand the importance of being environmentally responsible when using various lawn treatments and willing to expand their knowledge within the industry.

Responsibilities:

<li>Perform lawn aerations, overseeding and phosphorus applications using ride on and walking equipment.</li>
<li>Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and other lawn treatments using proper equipment and techniques</li>
<li>Communicate professionally with customers and answer basic service questions</li>
<li>Explain Lawn Squad programs and recommend additional services when appropriate</li>
<li>Complete service calls following company procedures</li>
<li>Maintain clean, safe, and organized vehicles and equipment</li>
<li>Document treatments and stay in communication with customers to help prevent lawn issues</li>
<li>Coordinate with branch staff as needed to support customer needs</li>
</ul>
Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record that qualifies for company vehicle use.</li>
<li>Strong customer service and communication skills</li>
<li>Reliable and able to meet daily customer and route expectations</li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements: 
<ul>
<li>Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly during the day to load fertilizer into the equipment.</li>
<li>Ability to work outdoors, in extreme temperatures as well as wet and humid environments.</li>
<li>Use proper safety equipment and measures when working with chemical hazards and conditions including fumes, odors, dusts, gases, and/or poor ventilation</li>
<li>Ability to climb, walk, crouch, stand, balance, reach, grasp, pull, lift, see, hear, and operate tools and vehicles</li>

Job Functions
 Lawn Squad provides lawncare, landscaping, and fertilizing along with pest and mosquito services throughout the greater Cleveland area. This involves customer communication, answering questions and customer concerns. Requires a neat, clean personal appearance and supporting a clean work vehicle and equipment.
 
Company relationships
 
The lawn technician collaborates with other staff members in the branch who can help resolve a customer’s concern.
 
Lawn Technician Duties (included but not limited to)

<li>Collaborating with customers to ensure their property meets their expectations.</li>
<li>Always be honest and respectful to customers.</li>
<li>Collaborate with other staff as part of a team effort and sharing the responsibilities.</li>
<li>Performing treatments to the customer’s lawn using proper equipment and techniques while showing professionalism.</li>
<li>Ability to explain the Lawn Squad programs to the customer or prospective customer with honesty, accuracy, and integrity.</li>
<li>Conduct service calls using the outlined Lawn Squad procedures.</li>
<li>Stay in contact with customers to prevent lawn problems.</li>
<li>Ensure the service vehicle and all equipment are used and maintained in a clean and safe condition.</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license with minimal infractions in the last 3 years.</li>
<li>Ability to lift 50 pounds or more throughout the day.</li>
<li>Project a professional image to the public.</li>
<li>Demonstrate a commitment to working the required hours each day to ensure that branch production goals are consistently met.</li>
</ul>
