<div>Position: Senior Software Architect
Location: Remote (Pakistan)

Work Hours: 09:00 AM &ndash; 05:00 PM PST
Role Overview:
We're seeking a Senior Software Architect to design, build, and evolve large-scale backend systems for production use. You'll lead system-level design, implement critical components, and guide other developers in executing high-impact projects.
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Design, implement, and maintain backend systems that handle production workloads at scale.</li><li>
Lead architectural improvements and redesigns for APIs, crawlers, data pipelines, and other critical systems.</li><li>
Build new production systems from scratch and ensure long-term maintainability.</li><li>
Break down complex designs into actionable components and delegate tasks effectively.</li><li>
Support live systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability.</li><li>
Collaborate with leadership and senior engineers on technical direction.</li><li>
Mentor developers through code reviews, design discussions, and best practices.</li></ul>
Requirements:<ul><li>
10+ years in software engineering or architecture, with a strong backend focus.</li><li>
Proven track record of designing and maintaining production systems used by real users.</li><li>
Experience designing APIs and backend systems at scale.</li><li>
Strong systems thinking: performance, scalability, failure modes, and maintainability.</li><li>
Ability to work autonomously and make high-impact technical decisions.</li><li>
Python experience is a plus.</li><li>
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) for productivity and code quality.</li></ul>
Nice to Have:<ul><li>
Experience evolving legacy systems.</li><li>
Background in data-heavy systems (feeds, crawlers, analytics pipelines).</li><li>
Infrastructure, scalability, and performance tuning experience.</li><li>
Mentoring mid- and senior-level developers.</li></ul>
