Automotive Technician - Capital Ford of Columbus

<div><p><b>We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to work in our growing service department at KIA of Riverdale!</b> Applicant should have knowledge of different makes and models and comfortable with minor diagnostic. They must be goal focused, detail oriented and a self starter.</p>
<p>If you have automotive technician experience and a desire to grow your career, we need to talk. We offer the right candidates an opportunity to develop their technician skills, to work in a positive environment with management support, paid training, and the facility currently expanding to add more service bays.</p>
<p><b>Service Technician Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul><li>Inspect vehicles and diagnose the problem(s).</li>
<li>Provide an excellent customer service experience by performing quality repair and maintenance work that meets dealership and manufacturer standards including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.</li>
<li>Provide an estimate of time and parts needed for repair/maintenance.</li>
<li>Learn new technical information and techniques in training sessions to stay current with rapidly changing technology</li>
<li>Build and maintain knowledge of products and services via on-the-job training and completion of manufacturer training</li>
<li>Must be analytical with good problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Maintain a safe and clean workspace</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Service Technician Requirements:</b></p>
<ul><li>Automotive service technician experience</li>
<li>Energetic with a positive attitude</li>
<li>Devotion to your work as a career</li>
<li>Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time</li>
<li>Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.</li>
<li>Clean Driving Record</li>
<li>Manufacturer and/or ASE certifications, a plus</li>
<li>Automotive technical school graduate, a plus</li>
</ul>
<p>Education:</p>
<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Required)</li>
</ul>
<p>Experience:</p>
<ul><li>Automotive service technician: 1 year (Required)</li>
</ul>
<p>License/Certification:</p>
<ul><li>Driver's License (Required)</li></ul></div>
