Tool And Die Repair

To help us drive excellence, you&rsquo;ll get to:
<ul><li>Perform extensive die maintenance such as rebuilding die sections, retrimming pads and forms and engineering changes on all types of dies.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Set up and operates machine tools such as lathes, milling machine, Blanchard and surface grinder to machine parts and verify conformance of machined parts to specifications.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Lift machine parts and positions and secures parts on the surface place or work table.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Smooth flat and contoured surfaces to fit and assemble parts together into assemblies and mechanisms.</li></ul>

This full-time, hourly role is a part of our Lebanon team and reports to the Tool and Die Supervisor.

Required experience:
<ul>
<li><ul><li>Perform all duties and operates machinery &amp; equipment according to TOSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment (gloves, sleeves, ear plugs etc).</li></ul></li>
<li>Studies specifications such as blueprints, sketches, models, or descriptions and visualizes product to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts and make repairs.</li>
<li>Measures, marks, and scribes metal stock for machining.</li>
<li>Determine specifications for inspection of work, using full range of precision measuring and gauging tools to perform inspection before, during and after machining.</li>
<li>Performs extensive die maintenance such as rebuilding die sections, retrimming pads and forms and engineering changes on all types of dies.</li>
<li>Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathes, milling machine, blanchard and surface grinder to machine parts and verify conformance of machined parts to specifications.</li>
</ul>
<ul><li>High school Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience</li></ul>

<li>Directly supervise all tool room personnel for the most favorable costs and quality workmanship.</li>
<li>Maintain the established maintenance program that successfully cares for all tools to prevent quality and productivity problems.</li>
<li>Maintain tool improvement program that is data driven and successful in providing ongoing improvement related to die and tool performance.</li>
<li>Analyze machining and tooling problems and coordinate corrective action.</li>
<li>Provide instruction and guidance in the use of tool room equipment.</li>
<li>Performs all duties and operates machinery &amp; equipment according to MIOSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment (gloves, sleeves, ear plugs, etc.).</li>
<li>Performs assigned Audits on time (LPA, Safety Focus and Near Miss, etc.)</li>
<li>Maintains harmonious employer/associate relations among those within the department.</li>
<li>Performs activities of associates supervised.</li>
<li>Punctual and regular attendance is required.</li>
<li>Able and willing to work any shift assigned.</li>
<li>Maintains a high level of confidentiality in all duties.</li>
<li>Keeps work areas clean and orderly.</li>
<li>Participates in continuous improvement activities.</li>
<li>Conform to TS 16949 and ISO 14001 standards and procedures.</li></ul> 
 
 
Required Experience 
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience:
