QUALITY TECHNICIAN

RESPONSIBLITIES:
<ul>
<li>Perform first and last piece approvals for production to ensure quality</li>
<li>Perform required quality inspections (hourly, bi-hourly, active inspection)</li>
<li>Conduct gage and fixture studies as required</li>
<li>Monitor, support and assist in product escalation, isolation and containment of defective material</li>
<li>Create and issue sort and rework instructions to ensure nonconforming product is handled accordingly</li>
<li>Perform basic weld destructs &amp; inspections at required intervals</li>
<li>Create and issue QC alerts and review with associates and supervisors</li>
<li>Create and maintain rework area and ensure work instructions and samples are correct and in place</li>
<li>Perform internal sorting activities by daily assignment
</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul>
<li>Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word</li>
<li> Effective email and electronic communication skills as required, including TEAMS</li>
<li>Ability to work with micrometers, calipers, scales, or light machinery</li>
</ul>
<ul><li> PAY AND SHIFT TIMES:</li></ul>
<ul>
<li>$21.50 per hour</li>
<li>1st Shift &ndash; 6am to 2pm</li>
</ul>
This full-time, hourly role is a part of our Quality team and reports to the Quality Manager.
