In this role you will be responsible for</b></h5><ul><li>This individual is responsible for the day-to-day quality activities in their assigned manufacturing team. They are responsible for addressing reactive quality concerns as well as identifying proactive quality improvements.</li><li>Monitor process capability and identify improvement opportunities</li><li>Champion quality initiatives on the manufacturing floor</li><li>Responsible for delivering on quality related metrics for their area (non-quality cost, customer PPM, new launch readiness, etc.)</li><li>Drive continuous improvement and systemic defect elimination initiatives within their area of ownership to more sustainable results</li><li>Promotes knowledge and application of the Standards.</li><li>Actively contributes to reduction of TNQC</li></ul><p>
&bull; Champion fundamental Quality approaches (PPAP, FMEA, IATF, VDA, Jidoka, Zero Defect, Quality First, etc.) both in the Design and the Process in their production team. &bull; Lead by example. Be an ambassador for Autoliv by demonstrating the Autoliv Way and &lsquo;Q5 behavior&rsquo; &bull; Defines specific quality training requirements for their scope of ownership</p><ul><li>Evaluate work of the team and identify growth opportunities for individual team members</li><li>Ensures that all applicable customer specific product quality requirements their product area are fulfilled.</li><li>Reports on quality performance indicators.</li><li>Enforces stable and in-control processes</li></ul><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
What is required:</b></h5><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in an engineering or similar technical field,
</li><li>Quality control in a manufacturing environment
</li><li>Knowledge of problem-solving methods and tools (i.e. 8D, 5 why, DMAIC, DOE, etc.)
</li><li>Understanding of statistical tools used in manufacturing (i.e. capability analysis, measurement system analysis, etc.)
</li><li>Knowledge of FMEA methodology and how it&rsquo;s applied for both product and process development.
</li><li>English language prooficiency</li></ul><p></p><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
