A basic understanding of warehousing practices, including safe and efficient storage of construction materials (and hazardous materials, when applicable), is also required. Time management skills are crucial to prioritize tasks and maintain an efficient flow of materials. Effective communication with procurement teams, construction managers, and site staff is necessary to ensure material availability and resolve any issues promptly.
