Duties and responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare tax provisions, schedules, returns, payments, reports and maintain a company&rsquo;s tax database</li><li>Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings</li><li>Make sure that clients comply with federal, state and local tax regulations</li><li>Need to maintain good client relationship</li><li>Advise management about the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws</li></ul>Important skills to thrive in this position<ul><li>Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations</li><li>Knowledge of independently preparing Individual and Business Taxes (1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120)</li><li>Experience of reviewing Individual / Business taxes and financial statements</li><li>Knowledge of payroll and sales tax is preferred</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Good communicator with great people skills</li><li>Strong analytical and problem solving skills</li><li>Enjoys a fast paced environment with challenging work</li><li>Good at multi-tasking</li><li>Team oriented, but can also work independently</li><li>Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases</li></ul>Preferred experience:<ul><li>1+ years of business and individual income tax preparation and review</li><li>CPA/EA Preferred</li><li>Quick Books proficient</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>CPA (Preferred)</li></ul>Shift availability:<ul><li>Day Shift (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Fremont, CA 94536
