<div>Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager-East, the Imaging &amp; Biomedical Sales Representative is responsible for supporting the company's repair, replace and service sales efforts, creating sales revenue and driving profit margins in new and existing accounts within an assigned geographical territory (NC, SC, VA &amp; TN). The role is mission critical, driving the company forward through assertive professional consultative sales and contributing to Avante's success in the marketplace. The Sales Representative works collaboratively and effectively within all levels of the organization.</div><br>

<div></div><div><b><i>Essential Job Functions &amp; Responsibilities
</i></b></div><ul><li>Partners with Capital Equipment Sales, Customer Service, and Field Service teams to generate sales leads for Avante's Biomedical Engineering Solutions products and services (i.e., Diagnostic Imaging, Ultrasound &amp; Patient Monitoring Services, Probe Repair, Parts, Depot Repair) within designated territory</li>
<li>Maintains and increases sales volume within assigned accounts and territory; meets and exceeds assigned quota and sales objectives including assigned quota uplift and exceeds customer expectations regarding customer service and solution-minded interactions</li>
<li>Identifies new business opportunities, generates leads, closes new business opportunities, and converts accounts from competition</li>
<li>Partners with current customers and recommends value-added services that will assist in managing their business more effectively</li>
<li>Works closely with other lines of sales to analyze customer needs and identify customized repair solutions</li>
<li>Manages sales pipeline per company&rsquo;s protocol, for example, closing &ldquo;A&rdquo; accounts, moving &ldquo;B&rdquo; accounts to &ldquo;A&rdquo;s and &ldquo;C&rdquo; accounts to &ldquo;B&rdquo;s</li>
<li>Targets new and existing accounts to stimulate new opportunities via phone and face-to-face interactions with both potential and existing customers, including &ldquo;cold calls&rdquo; to Hospital, Surgery Center, Physician Office accounts in assigned territory</li>
<li>Creates business through &ldquo;warm calls&rdquo; by connecting existing customers with expanded services or products</li>
<li>Targets strategic accounts to drive incremental growth opportunities specifically in accounts without current sales coverage</li>
<li>Keeps up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service call logs and internal service records &ndash; effectively uses CRM to drive customer penetration and opportunity identification</li>
<li>Utilizes data and analytics to identify opportunities</li>
<li>Attends Trade Shows and Strategic Customer meetings as agreed upon</li>
<li>Follows established procedures to resolve readily identifiable technical problems</li>
<li>Collaborates with all departments as internal customers, prioritizing tasks as needed for efficiency and compliance</li>
<li>Adheres to all company employment policies and safe practices</li>
<li>Complies with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per ISO:13485 2016 standards and the Company's Quality Management System</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned</li>

<div></div><div><b><i>Experience/Training/Education</i></b></div>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree preferred</li>
<li>At least two (2) years of professional work experience required; strongly prefer documented inside/outside sales success in a competitive, sophisticated environment with tangible products (i.e. medical supplies/devices, office equipment, etc.)</li>
<li>Prefer B2B and/or medical sales/medical device industry experience</li>
<li>Documented track record for meeting or exceeding sales objectives</li>
<li>Documented history of exceeding customer expectations without compromising company values</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to effectively solicit and explain difficult concepts all the while moving the sales process to closure</li></ul><br>
<div></div><div><b><i>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities</i></b></div>
<div><b>General: </b>Strong ability to strategize, implement and retain effective business relationships. Exceptional ability to speak and write effectively in a business environment. Superb time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet regular and frequent deadlines. Attention to detail required. Ability to work well as a team member. Must demonstrate sound work ethic, flexibility, respectfulness, honesty, and trustworthiness. Must also be punctual and dependable. Must possess cultural awareness and sensitivity.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Technical:</b> Ability to effectively use sales software and Enterprise systems, email, search engine, Internet; ability to effectively use Microsoft Products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and to use or learn specific software needed to improve productivity.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Communication:</b> Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to read and interpret documents such as financial journals, operating and accounting instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of the organization. Ability to resolve problems involving several variables with limited supervision. Ability to work with others in a team environment to complete projects.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Math &amp; Reasoning:</b> Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and willingness to adapt to change and take the initiative.</div><br>

<div></div><div><i>Physical and Environmental Elements</i></div>
<div><b>Physical Demands:</b> Ability to sit continuously for 1/3 of normal work shift, and stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms for at least 2/3 of the normal work shift. Ability to climb stairs. Ability to talk or hear continuously. Ability to see clearly to do all work-related tasks (clear or corrected vision at 20 inches or less). Finger dexterity is required frequently for over 2/3 of the normal work shift. Ability to handle luggage or work materials up to 20 pounds occasionally.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Work Environment:</b> Position is performed partially in a workplace office and/or home-office environment with standard office equipment (computer and phone), partially on the road travelling to customer sites, and partially at various types of medical facilities meeting with customers face-to-face.</div><br>

<div></div><div><b><i>Special Requirements</i></b></div>
<ul><li>At least 50% of time spent conducting business of sales outside of the office, engaging with clients, vendors, etc.</li>
<li>Must be ready, willing and able to travel by all modes of transportation and have a valid driver&rsquo;s license and Motor Vehicle Record meeting company requirements and guidelines</li>
