As an Airport Crewmember, you&rsquo;ll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional Customer Service to Avelo&rsquo;s Customer&rsquo;s every day. As an Airport Crewmember, you&rsquo;ll fulfil key responsibilities in Customer Service and Ramp Operations to ensure the safe and on-time departure of Avelo flights. 
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service<ul><li>
Provide an exceptional Customer Experience by assisting Customers through every step of their airport journey.</li><li>
Work in the lobby checking-in Customers and baggage.</li><li>
Work at the boarding gate, boarding flights and assisting Customers with questions.</li><li>
Work at the baggage claim, assisting Customers with baggage irregularities, filing baggage claims, and answering questions.</li><li>
Assist Customers with disabilities including pushback wheelchairs, handling assistive devices, and conducting on-board transfers, as required.</li><li>
Operate boarding ramps, jetbridges, and air stairs, where equipped.</li><li>
Other duties as required to provide exceptional service for our Customers.</li></ul>
Ramp<ul><li>
Work outside in various weather conditions.</li><li>
Coordinate the safe arrival and departure of aircraft by working as a pushback driver, marshaller, or wing-walker.</li><li>
Handle baggage with care including unloading, loading, and delivery to baggage claim.</li><li>
Conduct aircraft deicing operations to ensure all frozen contaminants are removed from aircraft prior to departure.</li><li>
Service aircraft to ensure they&rsquo;re ready for departure including potable water and lavatory waste.</li><li>
Clean and security search aircraft interiors.</li><li>
Other duties as required to provide safe, on-time departures.</li></ul>
Requirements:
<ul><li>Flexibility to work in a high-speed, sometimes stressful environment during a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.</li><li>
Exposure to different environmental conditions, heights, small spaces, and loud noises such as aircraft, vehicles, and other machinery.</li><li>
Regularly lift, push, pule and move up to 70 pounds.</li><li>
Ability to push wheelchairs up and down an incline.</li><li>
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)</li><li>
Possess a valid US state driver's license</li><li>
Must pass all pre-employment screening requirements including an FBI background check and drug screening.</li><li>
Obtain an airport SIDA badge</li></ul>
May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (e.g., emergencies, changes in workload, etc.).</div>
