About the role
This position is responsible for assisting and providing direct gynecologic and obstetric services to non-pregnant and low/high risk pregnant women and their families during the preconception, childbearing and postmenopausal process in an outpatient office.
What you'll do<ul><li>
Provide full scope care to women throughout their reproductive lifespan (if applicable).</li><li>
Provides individualized, family centered care to low and high risk pregnant women and their families throughout the childbearing process within the outpatient setting.</li><li>
Provide collaborative care for patients whose medical or obstetrical status dictates direct physician involvement in the care and treatment of the patient</li><li>
Assess, diagnose and treat all female patients who have reached menarche, in collaboration with the primary or back up supervising physician</li><li>
Maintains current and develops future theoretical and technical competencies regarding OB/GYN, primary care, emergency medicine, family planning.</li><li>
Obtains complete medical history and physical data on patients.</li><li>
Interprets and integrates data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed.</li><li>
Performs a complete physical exam and records findings. Collaborates with providers in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients.</li><li>
Orders appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures.</li><li>
Synthesizes data to determine diagnosis and therapeutic plan utilizing principles of prevention.</li><li>
Interviews and advises patients regarding health and illness prevention. Recommends community resources to meet patient and family needs.</li><li>
Instructs patients and family regarding medications and treatment instructions. Provides patient education.</li><li>
Maintains and reviews patient records, charts, and other pertinent information.</li><li>
Provides monitoring and continuity of care between visits.</li><li>
Have a working knowledge of ICD9, CPT and HCPCS coding and managed care, and be available for training as necessary.</li><li>
Attends required meetings and participates in committees/pilot projects as requested.</li><li>
Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations.</li><li>
Follows the guidelines related to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), designed to prevent or detect unauthorized disclosure of Protected Health Information (PHI).</li><li>

Qualifications
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>
Required: Graduation from an approved nurse midwifery, nurse practitioner or physician assistant program</li><li>
3 years experience providing direct patient care in OB/GYN specialty as a CNM, WHNP or PA</li><li>
BLS (CPR) | AHA Health Care Provider BLS</li><li>
Licensure: Must maintain either valid TX RN and Nurse Midwife or NP license OR TX PA license</li><li>
Certification: Must be Board Certified within 1 year of date of hire by either the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) for PA's OR the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Certification Corporation (NCC) for NP's OR the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).</li><li>

Accepts Coordinated Access System referrals as assigned and follows established protocols to enroll clients into housing programs.</li><li>
Assesses participants&rsquo; eligibility and program appropriateness; obtains required documentation needed for program eligibility.</li><li>
Assists participants to secure appropriate housing based on household size, composition, geographic preference, and other participant determinants.</li><li>
Develops and maintains good working relationships with local property owners and/or management designees.</li><li>
 Assists clients with the housing search and rental application process, and the understanding of Fair Housing laws.</li><li>
Determines rent subsidy amounts based on federal guidelines.</li><li>
Provides information and education on tenant rights and responsibilities.</li><li>

 Provides case management services through on-site visits, phone consultations, and home visits.

 Responsible for all data management requirements established for the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS).  Enters complete and accurate client information into the electronic file system as per established protocols.

 Maintains complete, accurate, and up-to-date participant hard-copy files and in TEAMS

 Develops, in conjunction with client input, individualized service plans that at minimum address residential stability, income, education, and health-related goals.

 Prepares and submits check requests for monthly rent/utility assistance in a timely manner.

Overview:
The Financial Analyst supports the finance department by providing financial planning, forecasting, and data analysis to enhance decision-making and ensure financial sustainability. This role collaborates with clinical, operational, and administrative teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with federal, state, and grant requirements 
Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Maintain general ledger by posting, verifying, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies.</li><li>
Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting.</li><li>
Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.</li><li>
Analyze financial performance and trends to support operational and strategic decisions.</li><li>
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>
Assist with grant reporting and compliance, including tracking expenditures and preparing financial documentation.</li><li>
Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage annual budgets.</li><li>
Monitor and assess financial performance, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.</li><li>
Support audits and ensure compliance with FQHC-specific financial regulations and reporting standards.</li><li>
Provide financial insights to support program development and expansion.</li><li>
Participate in cost analysis and efficiency improvement initiatives.</li><li>
Reconcile monthly accounts to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.</li><li>
Prepare monthly and annual adjusting entries involving balance sheet accounts and income statement accounts.</li><li>
Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.</li><li>
Assist with preparing documents for grant reviews and Medicare cost report by preparing assigned schedules and other requested materials.</li><li>
Assist with the monthly and annual end closes.</li><li>
Assist Executive Vice President of Finance with financial reporting.</li><li>

Must have bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from accredited institution</li></ul>
