Now seeking full time Nurse Practitioners 
 
What You'll Do:<ul><li>
Create individual medical care treatment plans and provide medical monitoring/ medication management for each client throughout treatment</li><li>
Provide quality medical care to stabilize patients and enable them to fully engage in treatment</li><li>
Update pharmacy orders, create UDS, med and lab orders, and review and address UDS and lab results</li><li>
Collaborate with extended medical, clinical, and UR teams for seamless coordination of care</li><li>
Maintain thorough documentation of all medical interventions, consultations, and directives</li><li>
Complete daily and weekly client appointment schedule in timely and efficient manner</li></ul>
What We're Looking For:<ul><li>
Master's degree in medical field, and related certifications</li><li>
Valid state medical license</li><li>
Federal DEA certification</li><li>
Acute observational and critical thinking skills</li><li>
Excellent oral and written communication skills</li><li>
Strong collaborative and multitasking skills</li><li>
Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in a related clinical setting</li></ul>

Nurse Practitioner - FNP

What You'll Do:<ul><li>
Advocate for client, addressing and resolving any external barriers to treatment</li><li>
Initiate case management for each client upon intake, addressing any pressing needs</li><li>
Oversee client accounts, ensuring insurance is active throughout duration of treatment</li><li>
Provide ongoing case management throughout the duration of treatment</li><li>
Arrange housing, financial aid, legal aid, vocational training etc. as necessary for client post - 
discharge</li><li>
Facilitate comprehensive discharge planning (continuing care, housing, sober support etc.)</li></ul> 
What We're Looking For:<ul><li>
High School diploma or GED preferred</li><li>
Min. 1-year experience in treatment industry preferred</li><li>
If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required</li><li>
Excellent communication, multitasking, and time management skills</li><li>
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills</li><li>
Warm, empathetic, respectable personality</li></ul>

Avenues Recovery Center at Lake Ariel is a 40 - bed residential facility offering drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services. Nestled on 5.19 acres of the beautiful Poconos mountains, this homey yet modern establishment provides the ideal setting for clients to cleanse themselves of all harmful substances and embark on their journey to sustained recovery. With round-the-clock supervision and care, our clients' every need is met with dignity and compassion before it arises. Our dedicated staff include skilled primary therapists and clinicians, nurse practitioners, addictions counselors and behavioral health technicians - all of whom help to create a warm, accepting, and non-judgmental atmosphere which fosters openness and healing.
