AVER is seeking a <b>Compliance Analyst</b> to support the Department of Homeland Security by being part of a special project team to investigate schools to determine those likely to be exploiting the student and exchange visa programs for criminal purposes. Responsibilities Include:
</b></div><ul><li>Support federal customers with data analysis, trend analysis, red flag analysis, statistical analysis, performance (monthly, quarterly, annually) analysis, ad hoc and recurring studies, and/or stakeholder data requests</li><li>
Provide federal customers information required for school and student investigations</li><li>
Investigate and analyze schools to verify legitimacy or assess potential risk of fraudulent activities</li><li>
Organize and prioritize tasks, track profiles, and determined the viability of leads for investigation across the US</li><li>
Refer or make recommendation for further investigation</li><li>
Utilize various Federal systems of records and locally developed databases to document, track, and monitor the statuses of tasks and cases</li></ul><div><b>
Education Requirements:</b></div><ul><li>
Bachelors Degree in a related field is required
</li></ul><div><b>Experience Requirements:</b></div><ul><li>
5+ years of experience with conducting in depth research, analysis, writing and reporting
</li><li>Experience with drafting notices, reports, and memorandums following government templates and writing guides</li><li>
Experience with formulating detailed &ldquo;finding reports&rdquo; including executive level summaries, conclusions, and recommendations
</li><li>Experience with researching federal regulations, conducting in depth analysis, developing and interpreting information to assist stakeholders in decision making, policy formulation, and a variety of other managerial functions</li><li>
Experience with leveraging a variety of databases to research, compile, generate and analyze findings</li><li>
Ability to understand and interpret policy, regulations, and directives</li><li>
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.</li><li>
Experience with Microsoft applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.</li><li>
Knowledge or experience with SEVIS or a related database, preferred</li></ul><div><b>
Location:</b></div><ul><li>
HYBRID (3-5 days a week on site in Vienna, VA. Schedule determined by client)</li></ul><div><b>
Security Requirements:</b></div><ul><li>
Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance (Public Trust)</li><li>
Current Top-Secret eligibility, preferred</li><li>
This role supports a government agency which requires U.S. citizenship</li></ul><div><b>
