Overview
As Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing for CONNECT, you will lead the strategy and execution of impactful, data‑driven marketing experiences that deepen customer engagement and accelerate growth across our SaaS business. Lead the end‑to‑end communication and engagement strategy for CONNECT from initial discovery through onboarding, activation, post‑sale engagement, and long‑term retention.</li><li>
Create innovative engagement strategies that encourage customers to adopt CONNECT, including personalized offers and AI‑driven recommendations.</li><li>

Create and refine audience segments using demographic, firmographic, and behavioral data to deliver highly relevant lifecycle communications.</li><li>
Partner with Portfolio, Sales, Sales Operations, Customer Success, Campaign, and Brand teams to align lifecycle programs with CONNECT&rsquo;s strategic objectives and customer needs.</li><li>
Manage and enhance automated lifecycle workflows in marketing automation platforms, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and continuous improvement.</li><li>

Skills &amp; Experience<ul><li>
8+ years of experience in B2B SaaS building and managing Marketing campaigns delivered via digital channels</li><li>
BA/BS Degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience</li><li>
Deep understanding of customer engagement strategies</li><li>
Proven track record of building and managing customer lifecycle campaigns across scalable digital channels</li></ul><ul><li>

 The job
 
 
 
 The Legal Counsel will primarily be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a range of commercial contracts to support AVEVA&rsquo;s business largely in an assigned territory, as well as providing professional and timely advice to various internal stakeholders such as sales, procurement, operations, finance and HR.
 
 
 Reporting to VP Legal Sales EMEA or one of its senior direct reports, and working with an experienced and well-established legal team in EMEA, the Legal Counsel will be a trusted advisor who is customer service oriented, has an eagerness to tackle a wide range of legal and business issues and the ability to balance legal risks with business objectives and successfully get deals closed in a timely manner and, all with a positive attitude. The Legal Counsel will also provide counsel regarding compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policies.
 
 
 This is a hybrid working role based out of the AVEVA office in Cairo, Egypt. There will be some opportunities to travel in the region on an as-required basis for projects and customer-facing negotiations.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Be an integral part of the continued growth of AVEVA&rsquo;s commercial deal pursuits as well as general legal issues that arise in the EMEA region (with a primary focus on Middle East, Africa and Central Asia) by providing pragmatic legal advice
 </li>
 <li>
 Advise, review, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts with public sector and private customers, partners and suppliers as necessary, including but not limited to software services agreements, maintenance agreements, consultancy agreements, global contractual framework agreements, procurement, subcontractor, and strategic alliance agreements, as well as other in-bound commercial agreements, always operating within an agreed approval matrix and legal policy framework
 </li>

 Establish good working relationships throughout the Legal department and across all relevant business units
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain current knowledge of, and support compliance with, applicable laws and regulations as well as group legal policies
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in reviewing and assessing current processes, practices and structures for efficient legal compliance, and lead or support projects and initiatives to improve and/or streamline legal processes and documentation
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage and coordinate with internal subject matter experts, external counsel, and relevant authorities as needed
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare contract summaries, legal trackers, and dispute resolution trackers to aid in the management decision-making process

 Assist in developing, maintaining and updating legal systems and records
 </li>

 Assist several sub-functions within the Legal department on corporate, regulatory and other legal matters at a local level, such as M&amp;A activities, corporate housekeeping, employment, facilities, trade compliance and litigation related matters, as required

 Essential Requirements

 Authorised and licensed to practice law in Egypt

 At least 4 years&rsquo; PQE in a reputable commercial law firm or in-house environment, preferably with relevant experience in software licensing

 Pays strong attention to detail and possesses excellent contract negotiation and drafting skills
 </li>

 Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, motivated self-starter
