The primary focus of this position is to be responsible for live-audio system operations in the auditorium spaces, as well as temporary setups in the customer organization. The goal is to produce high quality professional video projects and Audio-visual events.</div><div></div><div><br>
The role will be a professional with advanced skills and experience in audio, video, and production, and works very well in a team environment. They will work in partnership with the Customer and management team to provide on premises support for AVI-SPL customers at customer site(s) with the end goals of delivering a world-class Customer Service experience.</div></li></ul><div><div><b>
Essential Duties and Responsibilities</b></div></div><br>

Review planned production schedule and provide live services when scheduled</li><li>
Follows all Multimedia standard operating procedures</li><li>
Participates in creative project planning meetings</li><li>
Participates in pre-production rehearsals</li><li>
Executes project tasks related to live and field productions (e.g. soundboard, camera operation, technical director, control room operation)</li><li>
Participates in production setup and break down</li><li>
Responsible for maintaining production system health and pre-show checks and submits requests for repair/maintenance, as required</li><li>
Keep current with new technology development in equipment, hardware and computer software programs and plan for continual education of the Multimedia team.</li></ul><p></p><p><br>

Education and/or Experience

<ul><li>A sufficient working technical knowledge to administer large live broadcasts within a corporate setting</li><li>
3 to 5 years of experience as Technical Director</li><li>
A/V Control room experience (Live Productions)</li><li>
NDI experience</li><li>
Ability to troubleshoot audio technical issues before and during production events.</li><li>
Working experience of bringing in Live remote feeds (MS Teams and Zoom)</li><li>
Understanding how to maintain Audio Visual Equipment (computers, projectors, electronic consoles, lighting, camera equipment, etc.)</li><li>
Relevant software certifications or experience is a plus</li><li>
Two or four year degree in audio-visual or related field; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li></ul><div></div><div><div><b><br>

Onsite Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:</b></h3><div><b>
AV System Support and Maintenance</b></div><ul><li><div>
Provide hands-on support for AV systems including Q-SYS cores, Crestron/Extron control systems, digital signage players, conferencing technologies, and distributed audio.</div></li><li><div>
Perform regular maintenance and health checks to ensure all AV systems remain operational.</div></li><li><div>
Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate projectors, LED walls, and large-format displays used throughout the venue.</div></li></ul><div><b>
Q-SYS and Control System Management</b></div><ul><li><div>
Configure and maintain Q-SYS DSP and control systems for audio routing, control interfaces, and automation.</div></li><li><div>
Support firmware updates, system optimisations, and integration of third-party devices with Crestron and Extron systems.</div></li></ul><div><b>
Media Player and Digital Signage Support</b></div><ul><li><div>
Support platforms such as BrightSign, Tripleplay, and similar media players used across digital signage and content delivery networks.</div></li><li><div>
Assist with player setup, content scheduling, and CMS troubleshooting.</div></li></ul><div><b>
Projection Systems</b></div><ul><li><div>
Assist with projector setup, alignment, calibration, and edge blending.</div></li><li><div>
Apply manual techniques for geometry correction and display optimization.</div></li></ul><div><b>
Event and Meeting Room Support</b></div><ul><li><div>
Set up and operate AV systems for meetings, conferences, and large-scale events.</div></li><li><div>
Provide real-time support for microphones, switching, audio mixing, and video playback during live sessions.</div></li></ul><div><b>
Client Interaction and Collaboration</b></div><ul><li><div>
Act as the first point of contact for AV support on-site.</div></li><li><div>
Collaborate with IT, events, and facilities teams to meet client requirements.</div></li></ul><div><b>

Technical Expertise and Skills:</b></div><ul><li><div>
Strong technical knowledge of AV systems, including Q-SYS, Crestron, Extron, Dante, and AV-over-IP.</div></li><li><div>
Experience supporting media players (e.g., BrightSign, Tripleplay) and content scheduling platforms.</div></li><li><div>
Skilled in projector setup, alignment, calibration, and edge blending.</div></li><li><div>
Familiarity with video conferencing tools (e.g., Teams, Zoom, Webex) and digital signage platforms.</div></li><li><div>
Basic understanding of IP networking and AV-over-IP distribution.</div></li></ul><div><b>

3&ndash;5 years of onsite experience in AV support or engineering, ideally in hospitality, entertainment, or high-traffic venues.</div></li><li><div>

Diploma or degree in Electronics, AV Technology, IT, or a related field.</div></li><li><div>
