Job Summary: The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate staffing of qualified personnel to meet the needs of all Home Care clients. This role ensures that client care is delivered efficiently and with attention to quality, consistency, and compliance; also may be directly involved in the recruitment and hiring process for the agency.. 
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Assign and schedule field staff to provide care and services for patients, in any &ldquo;zone&rdquo;, as directed by the Staffing manager. Ensure that all staff have the necessary information to properly care for the client, including but not limited to, demographic information, directions, stated needs or requests and care plan whenever possible.</li><li>
Answer phone calls from field staff and patients; appropriately handle or refer the call and document follow-up, and/or resolution of the situation. Responding promptly and courteously to all patient/client inquiries or problems. As well as getting the Staffing Manager involved whenever necessary.</li><li>
Provide patients or families with accurate schedules no less than monthly and follow-up regarding: coverage, call-offs and cancellation of staff and keeps the Staffing Manager appraised of all such issues and completes notes documenting resolutions within the computer system.</li><li>
Computer system reporting responsibilities, including but not limited to:</li></ul><ul><li>
Clinician Availability Updates &amp; report to Staffing Manager</li><li>
KanTime Report &amp; report to Program Coordinator</li><li>
Double Booked Report &amp; report to Program Coordinator</li><li>
Incomplete Visit Report &amp; follow up</li><li>
Confirm weekend schedules with care givers on Thursday.</li><li>
Confirm weekend schedules with clients on Friday.</li><li>
Review schedules for Client &amp; Clinicians daily.</li><li>
Schedules for Client &amp; Clinicians &amp; review with Program Coordinator</li><li>
Enter new clients and/or inquiries</li></ul><ul><li>
Tracking hours and attendance for all staff. Communicate issues and concerns to the Staffing Manager for follow-up and documents same with notes in the computer system.</li><li>
Ensure all shifts/visits are completed in the system accurately &amp; timely, according to time sheets and clocking system reports in efforts to minimize payroll errors.</li><li>
Assist with interviewing and orientation of new team members as directed by Staffing Manager and Program Coordinator.</li><li>
Maintain confidentiality of all information in accordance with state/federal regulations, company policy and HIPPA requirements.</li><li>
Available for on-call via telephone to cover during weekends, holidays and after office hours</li></ul>
7. Be available by phone for all staffing concerns/questions.
8. Act as emergency fill-in for all private duty clients.
9. Be available to meet at a client&rsquo;s home with new staff members to acclimate them to the surroundings and ensure adherence to company policies
10. Report to office by 8:00 am Monday following weekend on-call to enter notes, follow up on issues and give report.
11. Survey clients on patient care as directed by Staffing Manager.
Working Environment:
Works indoor in the Agency office located in University City, MO. 

Requirements:

Qualifications:<ul><li>
Experience in healthcare staffing, strongly preferred.</li><li>
Average to above average computer skills, including word processing and data entry.</li><li>
Must be a self-starter, pro-active person, able to work with minimal supervision</li><li>
Must be a team player dedicated to providing a high level of customer service, with a positive attitude</li><li>
Must be able to communicate effectively and possess well-developed interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills.</li><li>
Ability to effectively interact with all employees</li><li>
Ability to be well organized and prioritize effectively</li></ul>
Physical Requirements:<ul><li>
Ability to participate in physical activity.</li><li>
Ability to work for extended period of time while standing and being involved in physical activity.</li><li>
Moderate lifting.</li><li>
Ability to do extensive bending, lifting and standing on a regular basis.</li></ul></div>
