If you're eager to learn what it takes to grow a creative business, this is a great opportunity to collaborate.Project SummaryWe&rsquo;re seeking a self-starting Content Creator / Video Editor (1099 contractor) who can produce engaging marketing content about our media productions on a project-by-project basis.Projects will focus on behind-the-scenes footage for our productions, YouTube channel, and podcast studio. Work may include a mix of editing and content capture depending on the scope of each project.This is a collaborative, project-based engagement where you will generate ideas, plan shoots (if applicable), capture video when needed, and edit content for delivery across social platforms.Project Scope / Responsibilities<ul><li>Generate creative content ideas aligned with our marketing goals, including behind-the-scenes looks at productions, podcast promotions, and YouTube channel launches</li><li>Develop plans to gather the right footage, including shooting video as needed for specific projects (on-site access to equipment available when required)</li><li>Edit videos for social media and digital platforms</li><li>Collaborate with Emmett (Owner and Creative Director) on concepts, execution, and feedback</li><li>Produce a mix of content types: short-form clips, podcast edits, promo videos, and social media content</li><li>Create short clips from podcasts for clients</li><li>Utilize AI tools as trained to assist with content production</li></ul>How Work Is Structured<ul><li>Engagements are project-based, with defined deliverables, timelines, and estimated hours</li><li>Contractor determines their own workflow, schedule, and tools</li><li>Collaboration is focused on project direction, feedback, and final delivery (not day-to-day supervision)</li><li>Certain projects may require on-site content capture, which will be defined and scheduled in advance</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience in shooting video and/or editing short-form content</li><li>Basic proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing</li><li>Ability to work independently as a self-starter, managing deliverables effectively</li><li>Strong organizational skills to plan, execute, and deliver content</li></ul>Preferred Skills (Bonus Points)<ul><li>Additional Adobe Suite expertise, such as Photoshop or After Effects</li><li>Skills in music creation, thumbnail design, audio engineering, or AI video generation</li><li>Experience in social media marketing, journalism, comedy, writing, or entertainment production</li><li>Web design and website creation skills</li><li>A passion for media and content creation</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Access to professional-grade equipment, software, and a fully equipped podcast studio (for project use when needed)</li><li>Training on AI software, including Opus Clip, for creating shorts</li><li>Insight into production, post-production, and business growth from industry experts</li><li>A collaborative, creative environment where ideas are valued</li></ul>Contract Details<ul><li>1099 independent contractor</li><li>Project-based engagements (no ongoing employment implied)</li><li>Hourly compensation, defined per project scope</li><li>Contractors may work with other clients</li></ul>Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hourWork Location: In person
