Overview We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Sign Shop Graphic Designer to join our team. This role is essential in producing designs for a variety of signage projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in print shop / sign shop graphic design principles and a passion for creating visual content that aligns with our clients needs.The ideal candidate will have worked in a sign shop environment before and be willing to split their time between graphic design work and clerical tasks such as creating new job tickets in Corbridge, speaking with walk-in clients, answering emails and assisting our General Manager with sign shop related clerical tasks.Previous experience laying vinyl decals is a plus!Anyone who has any prior print shop / sign shop experience is encouraged to apply!Duties<ul><li>Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and objectives.</li><li>Design lighted cabinet signs, channel letters, vehicle graphics, logos and other signage using Flexi Sign Pro.</li><li>Posses some knowledge of color theory and typography to ensure high-quality visual outputs.</li><li>Prepare layouts for printing.</li><li>Maintain organized files and documentation of design processes using content management systems.</li><li>Present design concepts to clients via email, incorporating feedback into revisions as necessary.</li><li>Manage ongoing tasks from your assigned Gmail folder</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proficiency in Flexi Sign Pro (OR working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator as this is a similar program)</li><li>Familiarity with sign manufacturing processes and oversize printing and production techniques.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to effectively present ideas to clients.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>Strong attention to detail in layout design, typesetting, color management, and overall visual aesthetics.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
