Job Description 
The primary objective of the Shop Technician is to service and maintain the company's equipment and vehicles, ensuring we have the appropriate inventory to meet our customers' needs. They will also take care of any customer dropping off or picking up equipment at the branch by providing the industry's best customer service. Is responsible for ensuring that the equipment is serviced in accordance with the manufacturers' specifications. All equipment must be in working order and meet the company's highest standards before being taken out of the branch. They are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the shop and yard. From time to time, they will also help with deliveries and pickups.
Essential Duties<div><ul><li> 
Follow all safety rules and regulations.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all PPE (personal protection equipment) requirements in the shop and yard.</li><li>Ensure that all equipment is maintained to the manufacturer's recommendations.</li><li>Ensure that all decals and warning labels on all equipment are clearly legible.</li><li>Ensure we have sufficient equipment for rent at all times. This should be done daily. Examples: Sandbags, all barricades, vertical panels, sign plates, signs, stands, stickers, sheeting, lights, drums, arrow boards, message boards, PTS boards, etc.</li><li>You will be responsible for making sure all arrow boards, message boards, PTS boards, etc, are serviced when returned at all times. In addition, recording what was done on maintenance logs.</li><li>Make sure all equipment is serviced and maintained daily. Wash, repair, organize, etc..</li><li>Responsible for making sure the yard is organized daily.</li><li>Report to the Manager all inventories that need to be ordered to ensure we maintain sufficient stock.</li><li>Responsible for filling out the proper paperwork when a customer drops off or picks up equipment.</li><li>Responsible for filling out and maintaining the proper paperwork/reports daily.</li><li>Report to the Manager every morning to determine which projects take priority.</li><li>You are in charge of the shop; please delegate the jobs to the people who are working in the shop. Ensure that everyone in the shop remains busy at all times.</li><li>You are responsible for keeping the yard and shop clean at all times. Housekeeping is a must every day.</li><li>Ensure all rental equipment is clean and stored in the designated area.</li><li>Help drivers load and unload if needed.</li><li>The forklift will only be used for loading and unloading. Fill out a service report daily when using the forklift.</li><li>Load and unload ALL customers in a friendly and timely manner (ASAP). It is your responsibility to check outside for customers at all times.</li><li>Help in all departments as needed.</li><li>Turn in all paperwork to the Dispatcher at the end of every day.</li><li>Ensure your branch radio is always on in the yard so dispatch can contact you for assistance.</li><li>Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures.</li><li>All other duties as assigned.</li></ul></div> 
Qualifications 
Education and/or Experience<ul><li>
High School Education</li><li>
Minimum of two years related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and/or experience</li><li>
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and evaluative skills</li><li>
The employee must be able to successfully handle the demands of this position, which include the following:

The Operations Administrator is an essential role on the Operations team. The admin has the freedom to work independently but is a vital part of the team. He/she assists with multiple projects and duties, including inbound/outbound calls, coordinating repairs and customer relations to ensure satisfaction after work is complete. Performing with a focus on accuracy, timeliness and responsiveness and high levels of diplomacy, sound judgment, and discretion when dealing with customers and other department staff.
What you will do:<ul><li>
Collaborate with and assist the Billing Specialist, Operations Manager and Branch Manager with orders and customer needs</li><li>
Assist with Time entries and validation of work orders</li><li>
Answer incoming phone calls and transfer to the correct person.</li><li>
Respond, compose, and send e-mail correspondence throughout the company in a timely manner</li><li>
Provide customer support via email, phone, or in person</li><li>
Inform customers of current promotions or special sales</li><li>
Engagement in learning and communicating all AWP products and services</li><li>
Compliance with all company safety standards and procedures</li><li>
Creatively work with team members on sales strategies</li><li>
 Support the Branch Manager &amp; Operations Manager with other duties as assigned</li><li>
Engage in company safety programs and support those efforts as needed</li></ul> 

Qualifications 
What you bring to us:
<ul><li>1-3 years' experience office admin</li><li>
Strong customer service skills</li><li>
Previous payroll and or accounting experience</li><li>
Ability to multitask</li><li>
Knowledge of construction, traffic control, or infrastructure industries preferred, not required</li><li>
Strong communication skills, both written and oral, bilingual a plus</li><li>
Excellent computer and internet skills necessary, Dynamics 365, MS Excel, Teams and Salesforce a plus.</li><li>
Must be results-driven, friendly, tenacious, work independently and have a positive attitude</li><li>
High energy and self-motivated</li><li>
