 Job Description
 
 
 
 The Dispatcher position will be in at our Santa Ana branch location, and will service our Southern California locations. The Dispatcher&rsquo;s responsibilities and essential functions include responding to inbound calls, dispatch technicians to work sites, follow up with customers after work is complete to ensure job satisfaction.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Schedule and dispatch workers, work crews, equipment, or service vehicles to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, job, or needs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Relay work orders, messages, and information to or from work crews, supervisors, and field inspectors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Confer with customers or supervising personnel to address questions, problems, and requests for service or equipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Determine types or amounts of equipment, vehicles, materials, or personnel required according to work orders or specifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Record and maintain files and records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, and other dispatch information.
 </li>
 <li>
 Report hiring needs and all employee issues to Branch Manager
 </li>
 <li>
 Use tracking log form to account for work tickets, equipment, and employees.
 </li>
 <li>
 Verify against the track log to ensure we have received all that was issued.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor equipment locations and utilization to coordinate service and schedules.
 </li>
 <li>
 Add new customer jobs and tickets to the computer system.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor drivers throughout the day via the dispatch system.
 </li>
 <li>
 Respond to emergency or same day request in a timely manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform all other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 High School Diploma or GED required
 </li>
 <li>
 1-2 years of experience preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong leadership skills to ensure drivers&rsquo; compliance with direction and assignments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic understanding of the geographical area and mapping programs to facilitate efficient routing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficient with or able to quickly learn dispatch and record-keeping systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams, Excel, and Outlook.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work independently with little instruction and adapt to change at a fast pace and under pressure.
 </li>
 <li>
 High integrity and a strong work concept.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to perform multiple tasks effectively with a focus on timeliness and responsiveness.
 </li>
 <li>
 High degree of energy, self-motivation, and flexibility.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven ability to work collaboratively with others.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication and time management skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong work ethic with a professional, positive attitude.

 Pay: $25-26 per hour or BOE
