 About The Role
 
 
 
 As a
 
 Casual Nurse Practitioner
 
 with Wellness Here for Life, you&rsquo;ll play a pivotal role in providing advanced, evidence-based healthcare within a supportive, patient-centred environment.
 
 
 You will conduct autonomous assessments, diagnoses and treatments aligned with your scope of practice and DBG Health Clinical Practice Guidelines, helping deliver high-quality care across a range of pharmacy-based wellness clinics.
 
 
 This is an excellent opportunity for Nurse Practitioners seeking flexible, community-based work that combines clinical autonomy with strong professional support.
 
 
 
 Role &amp; Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Deliver advanced nursing assessment, diagnosis and care to patients across designated pharmacy wellness clinics.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prescribe medications, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and provide referrals as appropriate.
 </li>
 <li>
 Administer vaccines and promote immunisation awareness, ensuring compliance with all national guidelines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage patient conditions and treatment plans in accordance with DBG Health Clinical Practice Guidelines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with pharmacists, medical practitioners, and allied health professionals to optimise patient outcomes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, ensuring adherence to privacy, confidentiality and risk management standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in continuous professional development, clinical governance initiatives and quality improvement programs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to patient education, health promotion and community health initiatives within the wellness clinic setting.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Skills &amp; Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Current AHPRA registration and endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner with a relevant and approved scope of practice (e.g., Primary Health, Immunisation, Community Health, Family Health or Acute Care).
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated experience in autonomous clinical practice, assessment and management of acute and chronic conditions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Previous experience in vaccination services and community or primary health settings.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent clinical judgement, patient communication and critical thinking skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong computer literacy (Microsoft 365, patient management systems, digital clinical tools).
 </li>
 <li>
 Current First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis certification.
 </li>
 <li>
 Current Driver Licence and reliable transport for travel to clinic sites.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Desirable:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Experience within pharmacy or primary healthcare environments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Exposure to telehealth, preventative health or wellness programs.
