Overview Axiom Technologies is a Global IT Services partner supporting medium to large-scale enterprises.We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide onsite / on-call assistance to end-users within the organization's desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery. IT Skills and Experience <ul> <li>Researching and designing data center equipment and facilities, and ensuring that designs and installations meet requirements</li> <li>Keeping accurate records of all activities and ensuring that documentation is up-to-date</li> <li>Troubleshooting technical issues and responding promptly to emergencies</li> <li>Managing the power sources, heating, and cooling controls inside the facility</li> <li>Performing cable management, including securing, color coding, and documenting the wiring</li> <li>Define data center system-level architecture</li> <li>Develop operations and maintenance procedures</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams</li> <li>Provide regular updates to stakeholders</li> <li>Set up and configure servers to meet operational needs</li> <li>Conduct regular inspections to ensure systems are functioning correctly. Identify and mitigate potential risks</li> <li>Handle hardware upgrades to maintain system efficiency</li> <li>Participate in audits and provide solutions for identified concerns. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations</li> <li>Manage the environment monitoring system, respond to alerts promptly and take necessary actions</li> <li>Manage backup tapes and ensure data integrity and security</li> <li>Provide comprehensive reports as per the data centre's standard procedure</li> <li>Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect data and infrastructure, monitor for any security breaches and respond accordingly</li> <li>Vendor Management</li></ul> Personal Attributes <ul> <li>Excellent End-user computing skills</li> <li>Good knowledge of Infrastructure support</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities</li> <li>Well-organized and extremely detail-oriented</li> <li>Strong customer service ethic and excellent communication skills, both oral and written</li> <li>Passionate about delivering quality no matter what you are doing</li> <li>Can work both independently and in a collaborative team-oriented environment</li> <li>A self-starter, motivated to push the limits and think outside of the box</li> <li>Fondness for solutions that are simple, elegant, and effective</li> <li>Ability to work with and maintain confidential information</li> <li>Language Proficiency: German, English</li></ul> In-depth knowledge of <ul> <li>Windows OS (e.g. XP, Vista, Windows 7, 10)</li> <li>Microsoft Office applications</li> <li>PC Laptop hardware</li> <li>PC Laptop peripherals, including printers</li> <li>Mobile devices</li></ul> Basic knowledge of <ul> <li>Active Directory</li> <li>Exchange</li> <li>Apple OS</li> <li>SCCM</li></ul> IT Qualifications At least two of the following :<ul> <li>PCLaptop OEM Maintenance Certification</li> <li>CompTIA A+ Certification</li> <li>Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification in the desktop area</li> <li>Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification</li></ul> Experience in a similar role <ul> <li>5+ years of relevant experience.</li></ul> What next?
