 Job Summary:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to manage the General Ledger (GL) accounting function within our Finance &amp; Accounts team. The Manager &ndash; GL Accounting will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, adherence to internal controls, and compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead and manage the General Ledger accounting team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and provisions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain and monitor the chart of accounts and ensure proper classification of accounts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring timely submission of schedules and data.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with IND AS accounting standards and local statutory requirements (including GST, TDS, etc.).
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive process improvements and automation within the GL function.
 </li>
 <li>
 Liaise with cross-functional teams including AP, AR, Tax, Treasury, and FP&amp;A.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure SOX/internal control compliance, where applicable.
 </li>
 <li>
 Train and mentor junior team members, supporting their professional development.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications &amp; Experience:
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Chartered Accountant - CA
 </li>
 <li>
 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and statutory compliance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in ERP systems such as MSD 360, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
 </li>
 <li>
 Advanced MS Excel skills: experience with financial reporting tools is a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
 </li>
