 The Stores In-Charge is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the stores at the factory. The role ensures accurate inventory management, timely issue &amp; receipt of materials, adherence to safety &amp; hygiene standards and coordination with production and procurement teams to support the smooth running of the factory.
 
 
 
 Requirements
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Supervise and coordinate stores, complete daily tasks and monitoring inventory/reorder levels.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Receive, inspect, and record raw materials, packaging, and finished goods as per company and certification standards.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate records of stock levels, perform regular inventory checks, and ensure timely stock replenishment.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure proper storage conditions for food-grade materials and adherence to FIFO/FEFO methods.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Issue materials to production as per indents and ensure correct documentation.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Liaise with the purchase, quality, and production departments for material flow and stock planning.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor expiry dates of perishable goods and coordinate the removal of obsolete/expired/defective items.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain cleanliness and organization within the stores in compliance with food safety and hygiene protocols.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, and track delivery timelines.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee and execute periodic stock audits and prepare relevant inventory and MIS reports.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Implement and follow store safety, security, and audit protocols.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Train, motivate, and monitor labour.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or relevant field (preferred: Food Industry or Manufacturing background).
 
 </li>
 <li>
 2&ndash;4 years&rsquo; experience in stores/inventory management, preferably in a food factory or FMCG environment.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with ERP, inventory, or warehouse management systems.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Good knowledge of stock control, safety, security, and hygiene in food handling.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and record-keeping.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work under pressure and resolve problems swiftly.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Good written and verbal communication skills (Hindi, Marathi, English).
