The Store and Purchase In-Charge is responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials, packaging, and other supplies, ensuring timely availability to support smooth production operations. This role involves sourcing and negotiating with vendors, maintaining accurate records of purchase orders and invoices, and monitoring stock levels through regular audits and reconciliations. The incumbent coordinates with production and quality teams to align material requirements, prepares periodic reports on inventory and procurement status, and alerts management to potential shortages or excess stock. Additionally, the role ensures compliance with company policies, implements proper storage and handling practices, and identifies opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
