 B Capital is looking for an Investment Senior Associate, based in Qatar. We are looking for a candidate with an incredible drive to assist in the end-to-end investment process for our MENA fund team. Primary responsibilities will be helping identify new investment opportunities through research-driven sourcing, researching markets and sector trends, evaluating deals, and conducting detailed business and financial due diligence across Middle East. The individual will work across all our primary industry verticals &ndash; Technology/AI, consumer enablement, financial services/insurance, and healthcare IT. The role requires maturity, flexibility, intellectual curiosity, and a proven track record of taking ideas and quickly turning them into action.

 BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
 
 
 
 Market research
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Develop market research and investment theses to guide sourcing efforts and build partnerships
 </li>
 <li>
 Source new investment opportunities based on investment themes and research.
 </li>
 <li>
 Establish relationships with founders and create a deep network of start up &amp; venture capital professionals
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Deal screening, sourcing and evaluation
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Evaluate and assess the viability of investment materials we receive from potential companies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proactively source deals in market through an established network.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead key pieces of diligence on investment opportunities and deal processes (e.g., audit, tax, legal, financial modeling, etc.).
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Building company value

 Deliver high-touch support to our portfolio companies across a number of operating areas.

 BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 Graduated with Bachelor degree in Finance/Economics
 
 </li>
 <li>
 3-4 years of experience in management consulting or investment banking, Venture Capital, Private Equity
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication skills and business writing capabilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prior Private Equity team experience in consulting/investment banking is preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, as required by the role
 </li>
 <li>
 This role shall be based in Doha, Qatar

Senior Associate, Investment

 POSITION SUMMARY:
 
 
 
 We are looking for a
 
 Part-time Venture Director
 
 (25&ndash;50% time commitment) with multi-stage (venture and early growth) investing experience and a proven track record in the GCC region. The ideal candidate has direct sourcing experience, conducting due diligence, winning competitive deals, serving on boards, and building strong networks with founders, corporate CEOs, business families, and government officials.
 
 
 Primary responsibilities will be deal sourcing, conducting due diligence, researching markets, and evaluating deals across the region. The individual will work across a wide variety of Consumer Enablement and Fintech opportunities as well, having exposure to industry verticals such as healthcare IT, and real estate/logistics. We will expect maturity, flexibility, a willingness to learn, and proven record of taking ideas and quickly turning them into action. Team player mentality, in support of the partnership, will be a core component of the role.
 
 
 Role/Title will be commensurate with working experience, and the person will be working closely with senior investment team members in the region.

 CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:

 7-10+ years of relevant work experience is strongly preferred (e.g., top-tier venture firm, investment bank, operating experience either at a technology company or early-stage, venture funded business, or equivalent).
 </li>
 <li>
 Has a proven track record of sourcing, conducting diligence, and closing investment opportunities
 </li>
 <li>
 Board or observer seat experience strongly preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Passion for venture and early-growth (Series A-C) disruptive technology.
 </li>
 <li>
 While GCC experience is essential, a bonus would be prior investment exposure in other regions such as Asia or beyond
 </li>
 <li>
 Preferably Arabic speaking to work with local regulators/investors/founders
 </li>
 <li>
 The individual will be required to commit 25&ndash;50% working with our senior global partners in B Capital
