Job Description: We are a family-owned bridal retail business with over 22 years of experience serving our community. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting functions and work closely with ownership and our CPA.Responsibilities Include: <ul><li>Record and manage financial transactions using QuickBooks Desktop</li><li>Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and bank statements</li><li>Process payroll and related federal/state tax filings</li><li>Manage accounts payable and receivable</li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports</li><li>Coordinate with CPA for accurate and timely year-end tax preparation</li><li>Maintain vendor and designer accounts</li><li>Communicate regularly with owners regarding financial status</li><li>Prepare and send Daily Docs to owners and manager of checks written, bank debits &amp; EFTs, and deposits &amp; credits</li><li>Serve as liaison with landlords, attorneys, and financial partners</li><li>Assist in tracking budgets, monitoring expenses, identifying variances, and recommending adjustments and cost-saving measures</li><li>Ensure compliance with financial regulations and assist with internal or external audits</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Strong QuickBooks Desktop and Excel Experience</li><li>Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and best practices</li><li>Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Experience in retail bookkeeping is a plus</li><li>Payroll and tax filing experience is required</li></ul>Why Join Us:<ul><li>Stable, long standing family-owned business</li><li>Collaborative and respectful work environment</li><li>Flexible part-time schedule</li><li>Opportunity to play a key role in a trusted local business</li><li>Opportunity to transition to a hybrid work schedule following a successful evaluation period</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hourExpected hours: No less than 25 per weekWork Location: In person
