Job Description: The HR Coordinator is responsible for administering HR policies, procedures, and programs. This role plays a key part in recruitment, pre-boarding/onboarding, payroll processing, and employee engagement initiatives. The HR Coordinator also provides administrative and transactional support to ensure smooth HR operations and compliance with company and regulatory standards.</div><div></div><div>
Responsibilities:</div><ul><li><div>
Assist with internal and external recruitment efforts for exempt, non-exempt, and hourly positions.</div></li><li><div>
Partner with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies and identify appropriate sourcing channels.</div></li><li><div>
Conduct candidate screenings, schedule interviews, and coordinate pre-employment testing.</div></li><li><div>
Administer new hire orientation and oversee all pre-boarding and onboarding activities.</div></li><li><div>
Coordinate and process weekly union payroll.</div></li><li><div>
Maintain HR records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with company procedures.</div></li><li><div>
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.</div></li><li><div>
Monitor HR processes for compliance, maintain required postings, and assist in investigations or employee complaints.</div></li><li><div>
Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events.</div></li><li><div>
Assist with volunteer events, training sessions, and HR-related projects.</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
Administrative &amp; Office Support:</div><ul><li><div>
Greet and welcome visitors, answer, screen, and direct incoming calls.</div></li><li><div>
Maintain office security by following safety procedures, monitoring visitor access, and issuing badges.</div></li><li><div>
Manage office communications, maintain filing systems, and monitor office supply inventory.</div></li><li><div>
Support cross-functional teams with various administrative tasks as needed.</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
Qualifications:</div><ul><li><div>
Associate&rsquo;s degree required; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred.</div></li><li><div>
1&ndash;2 years of Human Resources experience</div></li><li><div>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).</div></li><li><div>
Experience with HRIS systems.</div></li><li><div>
Knowledge of HR systems, policies, and best practices.</div></li><li><div>
Strong written and verbal communication skills.</div></li><li><div>
Ability to interpret and apply federal and state regulations.</div></li><li><div>
Competence in creating reports, policies, and business correspondence.</div></li><li><div>
Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.</div></li><li><div>
Basic math and statistical skills, including ability to calculate ratios, percentages, and develop charts or graphs.</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
Compensation:</div><ul><li><div>
$45,000-$70,000 Salaried Non-exempt (full-time)</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
