Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
The Pipefitter Journeyman will be responsible for following blueprints for the layout, assembly, and installation of HVAC-R piping systems, piping supports, and related hydronic HVAC-R systems including, but not limited to, chilled water, hot water, cooling, heating, sprinkling, lubricating, and other industrial production and processing systems.</li><li>
Routinely works with HVAC-R equipment and components including, but not limited to, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, pumps, condensing units, heat exchangers, air handlers, fan coils, and VAVs.</li><li>
Complete daily tasks under general supervision and according to the contract schedule using a variety of pipe, tubes, and fittings made of metal and nonmetal materials (including steel, copper, HDPE, and PVC) and using handheld tools and power tools.</li><li>
Cut pipe using pipe cutters, saws, hammers and chisels, cutting torches, and pipe cutting machines.</li><li>
Bend and thread pipe using pipe bending tools, pipe bending machines, and pipe threading machines.</li><li>
Connect pipes using threaded, grooved, soldered, brazed, and fused methods and secure pipes to structures with anchors, brackets, clamps, hangers, and pipe stands.</li><li>
Ensure quality craftsmanship by inspecting installation against specifications and best practices including, but not limited to, observing pressure gauges to monitor and test the piping system for leaks resulting in the repair of leaks and/or voids as required by specifications and/or best practices.</li></ul> 
 
Qualifications<ul><li>
Three (3+) plus years of mechanical piping experience.</li><li>
Solid working knowledge of blueprints, pipe type/material, pipe size, and related piping equipment and materials (hangers, supports, valves, etc.).</li><li>
Proficient written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills.</li><li>
Daily positive and team-oriented attitude.</li><li>
This position requires the ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to perform tasks involving physical labor, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials, tools, or equipment. Manual material handling must be performed in accordance with OSHA safety standards and company policies to minimize risk of injury.</li></ul>

As a Commercial Plumber, you will be responsible for working with plumbing equipment and blueprints to assemble, repair and/or install plumbing fixtures, and piping and conduct various plumbing tasks. 
 
Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Interpret specifications and blueprints as needed for completion of job specifics. 
Install plumbing equipment, piping and assemblies at job site.</li><li>
Ensure all material, equipment and tools are in hand to complete assigned project.</li><li>
Follow company policies for workers and enforce safety regulations.</li><li>
Study schedules and ensure timely reporting to job sites are assigned.</li><li>
Analyze and resolve work problems with any assigned Helpers.</li><li>
Ensure accuracy of own time records.</li></ul> 
Minimum Requirements:<ul><li>
Med Gas with current Certification is a plus.</li><li>
Minimum of three (3) years commercial plumbing required.</li><li>
Understand shop math; work skillfully with tools, metals and machines.</li><li>
Visualize three-dimensional objects from drawings, sketches or blueprints.</li><li>
Work within precise limits and standards.</li><li>
Appropriate journeyman experience.</li><li>
Good communication and organizational skills.</li><li>
Ability to work with Planning Calendars.</li><li>
Perform a variety of duties which may change often.</li><li>
Rate information using measurable standards</li></ul> 
Safety Awareness:

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to see well (either naturally or with correction). 
Must be able to hear, and speak clearly with professional standard grammar. 
Must use hands, fingers, arms and legs fully; kneel, crouch and crawl; climb and balance on ladders and scaffolds; climb stairs, reach overhead, push, pull and lift.
