JOB SUMMARY:
Perform assigned Material Handler duties at designated job site in an efficient and
 
effective manner. Reports to the site leadership team.
EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The list of essential functions below is intended to be representative of the tasks performed within this job. Other duties may be assigned based on business need.
<ul><li>Perform material handling duties according to the specified contract method in an efficient and effective manner.</li>
<li>Transport of merchandise from staging area to sales floor with use of pallet jack, cart, or other loading or unloading device.</li>
<li>Ensure proper maintenance of equipment.</li>
<li>Report repair and supply needs in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Provide assistance for inventory preparation and processing.</li>
<li>Complete all training requirements as it relates to the position.</li>
</ul>
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
<ul><li>None</li>
</ul>
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul><li>No minimum experience required</li>
<li>Must be able to pass a background screening for access to the work areas</li>
<li>Must pass a pre-employment drug test</li>
<li>Must be authorized to work in the U.S.</li>
</ul>
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul><li>Prior Material Handling experience preferred</li>
</ul>
In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions in order to perform this job successfully.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requirements will vary depending on the assigned tasks. This position does require the following; repetitive lifting, push/pull, carrying, walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling and prolonged standing. Will involve lifting/moving of 40 pounds. Reasonable accommodations, when practical, can be offered to accomplish the above requirements.
SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
<ul><li>Will involve operating equipment to facilitate lifting/moving a minimum of 40 pounds and a maximum of 150 pounds.</li>
<li>Tasks are regularly performed inside without exposure to adverse environmental conditions (e.g., dirt, heat, cold, rain, fumes).</li>
<li>Will need to use any personal protective (safety) equipment as designated properly and consistently.</li>
<li>Involves exposure to hazardous materials (i.e., cleaning solutions and bio-waste hazards).</li>
<li>Required inoculations and training provided by the company.</li>
<li>Some tasks may be performed independently with little supervision.</li>
</ul>
SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Some tasks require manual dexterity, in addition to visual and hearing acuity.
Availability: Full-Time - Must be flexible (Days, Weekend and Holidays)
Rate of Pay $17.75 per hour
