</b><br>
The Purchasing Coordinator assists the department and management by maintaining existing purchasing systems and facilitating the development of new purchasing and inventory control systems. Specific functions include, but aren&rsquo;t limited to, leading assigned RFX (ex. Request for Information, Request for Quotation, Request for Proposal) activity, maintaining accurate records, and running data analysis on vendor spend. Activities are targeted at standardization consistent with high quality, reliability, and plant and regulatory requirements. This role is highly visible with suppliers and internal stakeholders. A strong attention to detail and ownership is required.</div><div>
</div><div><b>
Essential Duties and Responsibilities </b>include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</div><ul><li>
Reviews purchase requisitions for accuracy and completion then converts them to purchase orders.</li><li>
Manages purchase orders during the full lifecycle to ensure on time delivery and uninterrupted company performance.</li><li>
Places orders and maintains communication with various vendors and Bachoco OK Foods departments to ensure the delivery of products and services.</li><li>
Communicates and informs internal clients on the status of all products and services in the supply chain for relevant departments.</li><li>
Troubleshoots issues with internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>
Assists in the maintenance of accurate physical inventories on all products and services.</li><li>
Maintains accurate reports for costs and inventory value for all products and services for all relevant departments.</li><li>
Ensure accurate vendor system data in conjunction with data analysis and drive professional relationships to ensure best in class vendor performance with the company.</li><li>
Perform frequent category spend analysis.</li><li>
Draft and present category spend analysis presentations.</li><li>
RFX activity, use of Coupa for RFX activity.</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned by management.</li></ul><div>

Education and/or Experience:
</b><br>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree from a four-year college or university or a minimum of two years of relevant experience and/or training and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</div><div>

Language Skills:
</b><br>
Ability to read and comprehend simple and complex instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple and complex correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.</div><div>
</div><div><b>
Mathematical Skills:</b><br>
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.</div><div>
</div><div><b>
Reasoning Ability:
</b><br>
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.</div><div>
</div><div><b>
Computer Skills:
</b><br>
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Inventory software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Experience working in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, Coupa, and Power BI preferred <b>but not required</b>.</div><div>
