<div>Job Description
 
The Network Engineer's primary duties include SolarWinds design, management, and configuration to maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot very complex IT networks. Will assist government users in system problem diagnosis and troubleshooting, collection of problem information, and recommendation of fixes. Participates in the daily activities of configuration and operation of customer IT networked systems. Provides quality assurance and operational reporting requirements. Will configure and test new technology, enhance current systems, and pioneer technology for new systems, work with cable fabrication, and troubleshoot communication lines and equipment.
 
 
Specifically, the selected candidate will work closely with military personnel for the operations and maintenance (O&amp;M), install, testing and training of communication systems. Will perform in rack, cabinet, cable support system, and general telecommunications equipment mounting and terminate coaxial, Cat-6 UTP, multi-mode fiber, single mode fiber, and any other connection required in the support of telecommunications systems. Will troubleshoot end connectivity to distant end and remote locations and attached network devices and monitor Local and Wide Area Networks to include transport links, layer 1 and layer 2 network devices. Perform trend analysis on circuits, network devices and server infrastructure and will use a ticketing system to report network outages to local work centers and track status of the outage until restoration has occurred. 
 
Will design and install new cabling, equipment, and associated hardware and software to extend and/or enhance existing services. Monitor statuses and alert systems necessary to provide real time network availability to include remote applications and hardware necessary to monitor and communicate with remote sites as required. 
 
Will provide end-to-end support equipment and services, including instrument placement, infrastructure and other required services to provide telecommunications related connectivity within and external to the customer.

SolarWind Network Engineer

<div>Job Description
 
BAE Systems is seeking a recent grad in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering to support the US Navy&rsquo;s Air Traffic Control (ATC) Landing Systems program. The selected candidate shall contribute to the development of embedded systems software for an Automatic Carrier Landing System. The landing system uses RADAR to track aircraft approaching Navy aircraft carriers and provides pilot guidance or autonomous aircraft control. 
 
Job requirements include programming in C, C++, and C#; critical thinking for designing software applications; logical analysis; and an understanding of computer boards as real-time embedded systems. 
 
The place of work for this position is in a military research, development, and test facility at Patuxent River, MD. This position entails occasional travel (two or three times per year, for seven to ten days per trip, to Navy locations in the US and international).

This newly created position will assist with developing the processes the US Defense Planning and Logistics community will follow to compliantly manage both Government and Customer furnished material, with a focus on compliance to DFARS clause 252.245-7005. This includes documentation, training, surveillance, and correction. The team will manage all material entries into the Government PIEE (Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment) system, throughout the product life cycle.
 
 
The right candidate will have the emotional intelligence to be able to influence others and build strong relationships with multiple functions (Program management, Government Property, Finance, Contracts, etc.) across all levels of the organization. Additionally, they will work directly with customers including DCMA and DCAA. Material Compliance Spec Sr

BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer to work collaboratively to support a hybrid cloud environment, providing technical leadership to manage Tier-2 support for multi-cloud (AWS, Azure GCC-High, Google and Oracle) and on-prem environments while ensuring a secure and reliable operational environment. This position will work closely with subject matter experts and development (DevSecOps) teams to deliver high quality solutions. 
In terms of Tier-2 Support, this leadership roles entails the following:<ul><li>
Ability to maintain operational readiness for all accredited systems and assist the adoption of advanced engineering for production systems across multi-cloud cloud platforms and on-premises infrastructure.</li><li>
Oversee helpdesk functions to provide timely assistance to end-users</li><li>
Provide full life cycle management for engineering support to all endpoints, including desktop/ laptop, patching, etc.</li><li>
Experience with anticipatory monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex incidents escalated from Tier-0/1 support.
