Position Overview: The Inventory Controller will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company&rsquo;s inventory operations across all divisions, including Civil, MEP, and Facility Management. The role focuses on ensuring accurate stock control, timely material availability, proper documentation, and cost-effective practices that support ongoing projects and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop, implement, and maintain efficient inventory control systems across multiple divisions.</li><li>Monitor stock levels to ensure the optimum availability of construction materials, MEP items, tools, consumables, and assets.</li><li>Establish and enforce standardized procedures for receiving, issuing, returning, and storing materials.</li><li>Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Procurement teams to forecast and plan material requirements.</li><li>Ensure timely availability of project-specific items to avoid delays and downtime.</li><li>Liaise with vendors and logistics teams to manage delivery schedules and documentation.</li><li>Maintain accurate stock data within ERP or inventory management systems.</li><li>Conduct periodic cycle counts and physical stock audits; investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.</li><li>Generate analytical reports on stock movement, material utilization, and consumption trends.</li><li>Identify and manage slow-moving, excess, or obsolete items; recommend reallocation or disposal strategies.</li><li>Implement methods to optimize inventory levels and reduce holding costs without compromising project continuity.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO standards, and internal audit requirements.</li><li>Supervise and train storekeepers and inventory staff across various project locations.</li><li>Maintain safe and compliant storage practices adhering to HSE regulations.</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory and material management.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bahraini Nationals</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.</li><li>7&ndash;10 years of proven experience in inventory or store management within the construction or contracting industry.</li><li>Experience managing inventory across multiple divisions (Civil, MEP, Fit-Out, or FM).</li><li>Certification in Supply Chain or Inventory Management (CIPS, APICS, or equivalent) is an added advantage.</li><li>Strong understanding of supply chain principles, warehousing operations, and material handling practices.</li><li>Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and other IT-related inventory management tools.</li><li>Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and general IT systems used in data reporting and analysis.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.</li><li>High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong problem-solving ability.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership, team supervision, and mentoring capability.</li><li>A proactive attitude with a genuine interest in learning, adapting to new systems, and continuous professional development.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: BD700.000 - BD1,000.000 per month

INVENTORY CONTROLLER

Job Overview: The General Manager will be responsible for the overall strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the company's furniture and flooring trading business. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the relevant industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to drive sales, manage costs, and build strong relationships with suppliers and customers. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Business Strategy and Operations:</li><li>Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize productivity, efficiency, and profitability.</li><li>Oversee daily operations across all business functions, including sales, procurement, inventory, and logistics.</li><li>Set operational policies and processes, ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations.</li><li>Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and sales data to identify new business opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.</li><li>Trading and Procurement:</li><li>Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to procure high-quality merchandise at the best possible prices.</li><li>Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability, control shrinkage, and manage storage efficiently.</li><li>Plan and coordinate trade routes and schedules to ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods to customers.</li><li>Financial Management:</li><li>Develop, manage, and monitor operational budgets, analyze financial performance, and identify areas for cost savings and improvement.</li><li>Implement pricing and credit policies to maximize sales volume and margins.</li><li>Authorize expenditures and monitor revenues, providing regular reports to the company directors or executives.</li><li>Sales and Marketing:</li><li>Oversee all sales and marketing activities, working with the team to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.</li><li>Plan and implement merchandising and showroom layouts to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.</li><li>Foster and maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts and vendor partners.</li><li>Team Leadership and Management:</li><li>Lead, mentor, recruit, and train a high-performing team, including lower-level managers and sales associates.</li><li>Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and resolve staff conflicts efficiently.</li><li>Establish a positive work environment and culture that promotes performance excellence and teamwork.</li></ul>Required Skills and Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience:</li><li>Proven success in a general, operations, or trading management role, with at least 5-10 years of progressive management experience.</li><li>Specific, in-depth experience in the furniture and/or flooring industry is essential.</li><li>Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a P&amp;L statement.</li><li>Skills:</li><li>Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Excellent negotiation and business development abilities.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data (sales, market trends, inventory).</li><li>Financial acumen and experience with budgeting, planning, and cost control.</li><li>Knowledge of relevant software, such as Point-of-Sale (POS) and inventory management systems.</li><li>Education:</li><li>A Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field is typically required; an MBA or equivalent graduate degree is often preferred for senior executive roles.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: BD1,500.000 - BD2,500.000 per month
