<div>Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Manage and administer established supplier agreements and develop new supplier relationships</li>
<li>Handle day-to-day communication with suppliers</li>
</ul><ul><li>Maintain metrics for function/supplier performance</li>
</ul><ul><li>Work with Quality Department about supplier quality assurance</li>
<li>Maintain the highest level of integrity while communication with suppliers</li>
<li>Submits purchase orders to suppliers when required</li>
<li>Administers annual audits to suppliers to ensure quality of products and cost effectiveness</li>
<li>Oversees supplier performance for North America operations</li>
<li>Maintain procurement budgeting process</li>
<li>Coordinate with the Key Account Managers during RFQ process</li>
<li>Responsible for initial purchase orders and PPAP documents per purchasing process</li>
<li>Work with Key Account Managers to transition projects from development to production</li>
<li>Communicate professionally with all internal departments</li>
<li>Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops: reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies</li>
<li>Oversees Purchasing Administrator</li>
<li>Update Qualification Matrix quarterly</li>
<li>Supports Quality Department during customer complaints that effect purchasing supply base</li>
<li>Reports department KPI&rsquo;s weekly/monthly</li>
<li>Performs other related duties as assigned</li></ul>

<li>Familiarity with German and Spanish languages a plus</li>
</ul>
Education and Experience:
<ul>
<li>Associates degree with advanced training and commensurate experience in purchasing and/or procurement</li>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in field of Purchasing and/or Procurement</li>
<li>3 to 5 years of experience in an intermediate level purchasing capacity</li>
<li>5 to 10 years&rsquo; experience in purchasing, procurement and/or buying automotive fasteners</li>
</ul>
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has direct supervisory responsibilities for all employees within the Purchasing Department.
