Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist in all day-to-day operations, ensuring repairs and maintenance works are carried out to the highest standards whilst meeting legislative requirements of the operations.</li><li>Repair and maintain all vehicles, plant and machinery as directed either on or off site.</li><li>Assist the safe, efficient, and effective operation of all vehicles, plant and machinery.</li><li>Undertake training to standards agreed by management.</li><li>To comply with the company safety regulations, policies and safe working practices.</li><li>Communicate effectively with staff/management and customers daily.</li></ul>Required Skills:<ul><li>You will have previous experience working as Van / HGV mechanic and plant fitter.</li><li>Proven working experience working with heavy plant and machinery including excavators, dumpers, rollers etc.</li><li>Welding experience</li><li>Able to work unsupervised and as part of a team.</li><li>Punctual, hard-working, &lsquo;can do&rsquo; attitude.</li></ul>Health &amp; Safety<ul><li>Adhere to all Health &amp; Safety policies and report any malpractice.</li><li>Report all accidents, incidents and near misses.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &pound;48,000.00-&pound;60,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Company car</li><li>Company pension</li></ul>Ability to commute/relocate:<ul><li>Derby DE1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)</li></ul>Licence/Certification:<ul><li>Driving Licence (required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
