The Web Coordinator is a versatile professional responsible for overseeing the design, maintenance, and ongoing management of an organization&rsquo;s website. This includes managing website content, structure, and functionality to ensure it is user-friendly, visually engaging, and consistently up-to-date. The role combines technical web skills with creative digital communication, bridging the gap between functionality and design.<br>

Key responsibilities include maintaining responsive websites, managing digital content, and producing high-quality media and graphic design assets. The Web Coordinator often collaborates with cross-functional teams&mdash;such as marketing, communications, and IT&mdash;to ensure the website supports strategic goals and delivers a seamless, effective user experience across all digital platforms.<p><i><br>

<div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Essential Job Functions</b></h2></div>
<div><p>A. Website Coordination</p><ul><li>
Plan, schedule, and execute website updates and new features in coordination with stakeholders and design teams.</li><li>
Conduct regular site audits to ensure accuracy, link functionality, and visual consistency.</li><li>
Track and report website performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and Hotjar.</li><li>
Ensure content and design meet web accessibility (WCAG) and data compliance standards.</li></ul><br>
B. Collaboration and Communication<ul><li>
Work closely with marketing, communications, IT, and content teams to align web presence with strategic goals.</li><li>
Support marketing campaigns through landing page design, web banners, and other digital assets.</li><li>
Provide internal support and training for teams updating web content.</li></ul><br>
C. Graphic and Media Design<ul><li>
Design branded graphics for the website, social media, email campaigns, and digital ads.</li><li>
Create and edit visual content including infographics, promotional banners, icons, and image assets.</li><li>
Assist with or lead the production of multimedia assets such as videos, animations, or interactive elements for use across digital platforms.</li><li>
Maintain brand consistency across all media, adhering to style guides and tone.</li></ul><br>
D. Web Development and Maintenance<ul><li>
Design responsive, accessible websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and .net frameworks.</li><li>
Maintain and update website content and functionality using content management systems.</li><li>
Optimize website performance (load time, mobile responsiveness, SEO, etc.) and ensure cross-browser compatibility.</li><li>
Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and dynamic content where needed.</li></ul></div><p></p>

Experience maintaining websites using a content management system (CMS) such as WordPress or Sitefinity.</li><li>
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA/Section 508).</li><li>
Basic understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) practices.</li><li>
Skill in content creation, editing, and publishing for web platforms.</li><li>
Proficiency with web graphics tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva).</li><li>
Ability to troubleshoot website functionality, formatting, and performance issues.</li><li>
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>
