<div>Job Summary 
 
The Manager, Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, strategic leadership, and performance of the facility's Supply Chain department. This includes managing inventory, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, optimizing budgetary and fiscal performance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The Manager works collaboratively with leadership and staff to implement process changes, measure performance, and ensure the availability of necessary supplies to support patient care and organizational goals. 
 
Essential Functions<ul><li>
Oversees daily operations of the Supply Chain department, including inventory management, receiving, and distribution of supplies.</li>
<li>Develops, implements, and maintains policies and procedures for departmental functions, services, and programs.</li>
<li>Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards related to supply chain operations.</li>
<li>Manages budget preparation, monitors expenditures, and collaborates with leadership to identify cost-saving opportunities.</li>
<li>Coordinates bi-annual physical inventory processes and ensures accurate reporting for all stock supply locations.</li>
<li>Implements education and training programs to support staff development and operational improvement initiatives.</li>
<li>Actively participates in the Supply Expense Committee, contributing to strategic initiatives and expense management.</li>
<li>Develops and monitors supply chain performance metrics, reporting outcomes to leadership and identifying areas for improvement.</li>
<li>Leads special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned.</li>

Leadership Responsibilities<ul><li>
Supervision and Staff Management
<ul><li>Provides leadership, mentorship and professional development opportunities for departmental staff.</li>
<li>Schedules employees to ensure effective use of resources. Consults with Director on staffing issues.</li>
<li>Conducts performance evaluations, sets goals and provides feedback to staff on their performance and development.</li>
</ul></li><li>Strategic Planning and Financial Oversight
<ul><li>Develops and manages departmental budget ensuring cost effective operations while maintaining high quality service.</li>
<li>Monitors expenditures, ensuring cost-effective delivery of services.</li>
<li>Evaluates and implements new technologies to enhance operational efficiency.</li>
<li>Develops and implements departmental policies and procedures and protocols to optimize quality and overall efficiencies.</li>
</ul></li><li>Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance
<ul><li>Ensures compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies. May oversee the accreditation process with relevant agencies ensuring that services meet or exceed industry standards.</li>
<li>Participates in audits, inspections and accreditation processes as applicable.</li>
<li>Follows established quality control practices to ensure accuracy, consistency and safety.</li>
</ul></li><li>Collaboration and Communication
<ul><li>Works closely with leadership teams to coordinate and improve service delivery.</li>
<li>Stays up-to-date with industry advancements, new technologies, and regulatory changes.</li>
</ul></li><li>Staff Responsibilities
<ul><li>May work in a staff role, when required. Ensures that duties and responsibilities are fulfilled while meeting all competencies established for that job.</li>
</ul></li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>
Associate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required or</li>
<li>A combination of education and significant supply chain or inventory operations experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
</li><li>Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
</li><li>3-5 years of experience in supply chain management or inventory operations required
</li><li>1-3 years of previous leadership experience preferred
</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities<ul><li>
Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain operations, inventory management, and regulatory compliance requirements.</li>
<li>Strong leadership and team-building skills to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.</li>
<li>Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess performance metrics and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies.</li>
<li>Proficiency in supply chain software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, leadership, and external vendors.</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced healthcare environment.</li></ul></div>
