Job Summary:</b></p></div><div><p><br>
The Content Intern / Contract Content Creator will play a key role in elevating Baldwin Supply&rsquo;s digital presence and internal communications. This position is responsible for helping revamp the company website, producing written and video content for internal and customer-facing newsletters, strengthening Baldwin&rsquo;s social media strategy, and building a library of professional photos and videos for ongoing use. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller who is comfortable with a camera and a keyboard&mdash;Baldwin&rsquo;s team will provide coaching on the industry and the business. Job Responsibilities:</b></p></div><div><div><p><b><br>
Website Content &amp; Development</b></p><ul><li>
Assist in revamping the Baldwin Supply website by writing, editing, and organizing page content</li><li>
Draft compelling product descriptions, service pages, capability statements, and landing page copy</li><li>
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure website content accurately reflects Baldwin&rsquo;s offerings and brand voice</li><li>
Help plan and implement site structure improvements for user experience and SEO</li></ul><p><b>
Newsletter &amp; Written Content</b></p><ul><li>
Write articles, employee spotlights, project highlights, and industry updates for internal and customer newsletters</li><li>
Create and edit video content for newsletter features and email campaigns</li><li>
Develop a content calendar and coordinate with subject matter experts across the company for story ideas</li><li>
Ensure all written content is on-brand, engaging, and tailored to the appropriate audience</li></ul><p><b>
Social Media</b></p><ul><li>
Help develop and execute a social media strategy to increase Baldwin Supply&rsquo;s online visibility and engagement</li><li>
Create and schedule posts across platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)</li><li>
Draft social copy, source or create visuals, and monitor engagement metrics</li><li>
Research industry trends and competitor social presence to identify opportunities</li><li>
Highlight company culture, customer success stories, and industry expertise through social content</li></ul><p><b>
Photo &amp; Video Asset Library</b></p><ul><li>
Capture professional photos and videos at the Plymouth office, Fridley belt shop, and other Baldwin Supply branch locations</li><li>
Document facility operations, products, team members, customer interactions, and events for marketing use</li><li>
Edit and organize photo and video assets into a well-structured library for ongoing use by the sales and marketing teams</li><li>
Produce short-form videos for social media, website, and internal communications</li></ul><p><b>
Collaboration &amp; Brand Support</b></p><ul><li>
Work closely with sales leadership, account managers, and branch teams to identify content opportunities</li><li>
Ensure all content aligns with Baldwin Supply&rsquo;s brand standards and professional image</li><li>
Support trade show and event content needs as they arise (pre-event promotion, on-site coverage, post-event recaps)</li><li>
Manage multiple content projects simultaneously and deliver on deadline</li></ul></div></div><p></p><div><p><b><br>
Qualifications</b></p></div><div><p><b><br>
Education and Experience:</b></p></div><div><br>
<ul><li>
 Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field</li><li>
Strong portfolio or samples demonstrating writing ability and/or video/photo work</li><li>
Experience with social media platforms in a professional or academic setting</li><li>
Prior industry knowledge is not required&mdash;we will coach the right candidate on our business and industry</li></ul></div><div><p><b><br>
Required Skills/Abilities:</b></p></div><div><br>
<ul><li>
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills</li><li>
Comfortable with photography and videography (DSLR, smartphone, or similar equipment)</li><li>
Basic video editing skills (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar)</li><li>
Familiarity with content management systems (WordPress or similar) is a plus</li><li>
Working knowledge of social media scheduling and analytics tools</li><li>
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines</li><li>
Effective communication and collaboration skills&mdash;comfortable working across teams and locations</li><li>
Self-motivated with a curiosity to learn about the industrial distribution industry</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license for occasional travel to branch locations</li></ul></div><div><p><b><br>
Physical Requirements / Work Conditions:</b></p></div><div><br>
<ul><li>
Occasional travel to Baldwin Supply branch locations including the Fridley belt shop and other facilities</li><li>
The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.</li><li>
The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and move around facilities for photo and video shoots.</li><li>
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds (camera equipment, tripods, etc.).</li><li>
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate; may be higher during facility visits.</li><li>
Work is primarily conducted in a semi-private office/cubicle setting with periodic on-location shoots.</li></ul></div><div><p><b><br>
