Key Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Review and become familiar with the project documents, including contracts, plans, and specifications.</li>
<li>Identify potential conflicts in the documents, generate requests for information, propose solutions, identify if the RFI disposition will result in a change to cost or schedule, and report to the Project Manager.
</li><li>Maintain and update project RFI log.</li>
<li>Prepare and transmit submittal packages.
</li><li>Maintain and update project submittal log.
</li><li>Resolve submittal review comments to obtain approval.
</li><li>Determine quantities.</li>
<li>Identify changes in quantities resulting from events, including but not limited to client directives, owner directives, and design plan progression, and review and approve agency design plan comments and conditions for approval.
</li><li>Notify the Client of the Change(s), obtain written acknowledgment of the Change (s), obtain written authorization to proceed with extra work and interface with the Bali accounting team to track labor hours and costs associated with additional work in TRACK.</li>
<li>In coordination with Bali's purchasing manager, obtain vendor shop drawings and review them to ensure conformance with the project requirements.
</li><li>In coordination with Bali's Purchasing Manager, identify and research alternate or substitute materials that meet project requirements to obtain the best value or mitigate availability constraints.
</li><li>Obtain requisite permits for the project scope of work.
</li><li>Visit project sites and attend project meetings.
</li><li>Identify field conditions that pose risks to estimated productivity.</li>
<li>Convey risks and job site issues identified to the Project Manager, Superintendent, and Foremen as necessary.</li>
<li>Actively participate in Bali's Safety Culture.</li>
<li>In coordination with Bali's Safety Director and the project team, prepare job hazard analysis for each activity.
</li><li>Actively participate in Bali's impact notification procedure as necessary.
</li><li>Review field-generated time &amp; material extra work tickets for completeness and address shortfalls identified.
</li><li>Assist field personnel in navigating administrative duties using mobile platforms not limited to project-specific document control software and TRACK.</li>
<li>Confirm that labor hours have been appropriately cost-coded in TRACK, move hours to appropriate codes as necessary, and update associated quantities.</li>
<li>Assist in resolving identified conflicts as necessary.
</li><li>Collect and record field data to support production rate review and analysis.
</li><li>Prepare project&mdash;or task-specific plans, including, but not limited to, sewer spill prevention plans, sewer bypass plans, shut-down or tie-in plans, and hoisting or lift plans.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Counsel, mentor, and supervise all assigned personnel, including Project and Field Engineers.

<li>Prepare preliminary project schedule and corresponding budget based upon estimate and input from Superintendent and Foremen.</li>
<li>Obtain Executive approval of the preliminary budget and record the initial budget with committed costs; monitor and update as the project progresses.</li>
<li>Export estimate to TRACK and establish initial cost tracking accounts.
</li><li>Actively coordinate with the Client to obtain the Client's concurrence with Bali's project schedule.</li>
<li>Schedule, organize, and conduct Bali interdepartmental Project Kick-Off meeting to coordinate company-wide efforts for assigned projects; set goals for and expectations of supporting departments' actions, including finance and accounting, labor compliance and payroll, yard operations, logistics, safety, and purchasing.</li>

<li>Inspect and supervise project safety program; identify and manage hazards with the field team.</li>
<li>Actively participate in incident review meetings.

<li>Weekly review of active project productions and labor hours; identify trends and develop recovery plans with the project team members to address shortfalls and capitalize on opportunities.
