Position Overview:
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you play a critical role in ensuring that aluminum can products meet established quality and food safety standards. Your responsibilities include advising production teams on quality compliance, conducting inspections, and analyzing data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement. By minimizing quality-related downtime and ensuring compliance with industry regulations, you enhance overall production efficiency and product integrity.

Inspection Equipment Maintenance, perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of inspection equipment to ensure operational efficiency and reliability</li><li>
Quality Decision-Making, make informed decisions on releasing or holding products for inspection during shifts, maintaining product quality standards</li><li>
Collaboration with Production Teams, work closely with production teams to implement control plans and address quality issues effectively</li><li>
Food Safety Compliance, ensure adherence to food safety standards and certifications, leading and coordination food safety audits and inspections</li><li>
Product Quality Assurance, conduct rigorous inspections processes to ensure all products meet quality standards and comply with regulatory and internal requirements</li><li>

Qualifications &amp; Experience:<ul><li>
2+ Years in a quality assurance or quality control role within a manufacturing environment</li><li>
High School Diploma or Equivalent</li><li>
Food Safety certifications (e.g., HACCP) and Quality Systems certifications (e.g., ISO or ASQ) are plus</li><li>

Quality Assurance Technician

Position Overview: 
As a Senior Regional Quality Manager, you are a key member of the Corporate Quality team reporting to the Director, Regional Quality (North &amp; Central America [NCA]) . You will contribute to the success of Ball by ensuring plant quality assurance team members are proficient in addressing Root Cause for plant quality issues, facilitating collaboration between CTS, customers, and plant quality teams, and driving support for trials, qualification, and best practices. You will also work closely with the Regional Operations Director for the assigned Production Group. You will lead and manage strategic, complex, and regional/divisional quality improvement projects that will deliver significant added value to assigned Production Group and Beverage Packaging NCA (BPNCA). 
Your Key Areas of Responsibility Include: 
<ul><li>
Influence assigned Production Group&rsquo;s plants to focus and execute key quality initiatives, including Quality Pillar execution through the Ball Operational Excellence (BOE) platform.</li><li>
Ensure and maintain standardization of quality testing and reporting methods throughout their PG that are in alignment with customer/business requirements.</li><li>
Facilitate standardization of quality testing, trials, and process.</li><li>
Administer and maintain relations with Customer Technical Services (CTS), plant quality teams, commercial teams, supply chain teams, and customers.
</li><li>Drive consistent problem solving, routines and process to improve Quality performance at the PG and plant level.</li><li>
Contribute to customer experience improvement including but not limited to NPS (Net Promoter Score) regional/plant scorecards, concerns and other actions that drive quality improvement.</li><li>
Drive regional and plant quality accountability that ensures plant quality function maintains acceptable quality documentation.</li><li>
Influence at the regional and plant level, the evaluation and qualification of new materials and products, including line trials and customer approvals and internal qualification approval for customer shipment.</li><li>
Matrixed reporting relationship with region&rsquo;s Plant Quality Assurance (QA)Manager.
</li><li>Provide direction on quality CapEx required at plants.</li></ul> 
Required Skills and Experience: 
<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree or equivalent broad training and relevant work experience.</li><li>
Minimum of 6 years experience working in beverage can, packaging or other high-speed manufacturing.
</li><li>Demonstrated Skills:
<ul><li>Effective and efficient communication and ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships across the organization.
</li><li>Problem-solving abilities with a preference using Lean Manufacturing methodologies (such as 8D).</li></ul></li></ul> 
Preferred Skills and Experience: 
<ul><li>
Lean or Continuous Improvement experience including leading projects using Lean/Continuous Improvement tools.
</li><li>Verbal and written communication skills in Spanish or French.</li></ul>

Primary purpose of the position:
The Operational Excellence Specialist is an entry level position. It is both, a facilitative leader and a learner, operating under the supervision of the Regional Manager Lean Six Sigma or Regional Operational Excellence Manager. The Operational Excellence Specialist is expected to be able to learn and understand the can making process and get involved with day to day operations at the plant. The dual focus is on:<ul><li>
Leading standardization of the management process at the plant, working directly with employees on all shifts and teams.</li><li>
Leading various process improvement assignments and projects that yield bottom-line productivity, improved throughput and better quality.</li></ul>
This is an entry level development role with an assignment of approximately 2 years. After 2 years, through solid performance, candidates may have an opportunity to grow into a Plant Supervisor role and a path to other future leadership roles.
Essential Responsible Areas:<ul><li>
Plant resource to facilitate/execute plant standardization of the management system and work with employees at all levels to help facilitate, train and track implementation to standard.</li><li>
Leads and facilitates improvement teams, workshop teams, and individual improvement projects aligned with plant or department priorities:</li><li>
Participates as a team member, problem solving resource and group facilitator on plant or department improvement teams as required; also participates in daily problem-solving activities.</li><li>
Collaborates with plant team to conduct process analysis and performance reporting in support of internal or external client needs.</li><li>

Supports and facilitates adoption of best practices to eliminate waste and improve performance for assigned plant or function.</li><li>

Professional &amp; Education Qualification<ul><li>
