Brand new dental practice is seeking a highly efficient and personable Dental Assistant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work in a supportive, patient-focused environment, and grow their career in dental health.Job Responsibilities:Assisting the dentist during various treatment procedures.Taking and developing dental radiographs (x-rays).Serving as an infection control officer, developing infection control protocol and preparing sterilization materials.Preparing and setting up instruments, materials, and equipment for dental procedures.Taking dental impressions and fabricating provisional crowns.Managing patient appointments and maintaining dental records.Educating patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies.Performing office management tasks that require both administrative and dental assisting knowledge.Qualifications and Skills:Completion of accredited dental assistant program.Certification as a dental assistant (CDA) is preferred.Minimum of one-year experience in a dental setting.Proficient with digital radiography.Experience with dental practice management software (Dentrix, etc.)Exceptional customer service skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.What We Offer:Competitive salary package.Professional development opportunities.Supportive and friendly work environment.Opportunities for career growth.If you are a proactive, professionally presented person and want to be part of a growing organization, this could be your next long-term role.
